Coach Buckett had me concerned with his post about depth but apparently the Panthers did work tonight.

Could be a much shorter drive this year for the semis they way things look loke they make shake out assuming we can withstand Rusellville

I wasnt trying to mislead anyone. Panthers have several kids out of practice this week sick. We got lucky and those kids started to feel a little better, they played sick last night because they want too. We are working on building depth, we have a lot of young guys. Franklin Co exposed the depth problem and a few others. We are working hard to correct those. Focused Now on Bracken, Paris, and Eminence for now.

Considering LCA beat Hazard and then looking at this score, I'd have to say Frankfort definately solidified the #2 spot in 1a for now. Maybe even #1.

Is it a shorter drive to Frankfort? It may be a little shorter.

Yep at hour closer but I have to be honest, I enjoy playing the Tigers the most with their unmatched tradition in class A

I believe so too.

The Panthers (5-1) outgained the Eagles (4-2) 356-97 in the game, including a 225-25 rushing discrepancy.

Teantre McGee outgained the Eagles by himself, going for 100 yards and two TDs on 11 carries. Dylan Lancaster returned a punt 80 yards for an Eagles TD with the game still close, but it would end up being their final score of the game.

Way to Turn up Panthers!!!:thumb:

Very impressive! :thumb:

The Frankfort/Danville game should tell something about Fankfort. I'm not sure LCA was that good or if Hazard whom LCA beat was that good. I'd say Frankfort is good but are they good enough to beat both Beechwood and Mayfield?

No!

It appears LCA is a bit over rated, add in the fact that there best player got hurt in this game if I was told correctly by a fan. I think FHS will win some games and make a run in play offs but as far as beating Mayfeild and Beechwood, lets not get carried away just yet.

Yea, Frankfort fans Just start thinking about Spring practice you don't have a shot this year... Frankfort also had several players out this past week and beating a top 2A team isn't worthy at all. It was 43-14 one player doesn't make that much of a difference. "C'mon son" - Ed Lover voice...
