With both Catholic (Owensboro and Newport) schools knocked out I think Somerset has a clear path to their first state title.....The BJ's tough schedule will pay off as they win this one 33-28....I have a feeling Somerset takes the title.....

I can respect that...trust me I would not be shocked if Mayfield wins...it is a coin toss to me....two GREAT programs...should be a great game...best wishes..

What a feel good story...I am very happy for the kids and community....I have been told they have enough talent to go all the way....hope they do...

Coach Mills and the Bobcats have nothing to be ashamed of....Bell had a great season...hate to see it end this way for them...but no shame losing to Central..

There is no reason Belfry should not win in my mind, yet I have a strong feeling Garrard is going to win this one....I think there QB is rolling right now and the unparralell success they are having has given them a huge wave of confidence.....Garrard in the upset 34-27......call me crazy....no doubt some of you will...LOL...

I did not expect Central to beat Bell like this....WOW....when is the last time anyone beat Bell like this? Wells is a load for Central....congratualtions Central looks like state title number 4 in 5 years....Coach Scroggins is a tremendous coach! Congratulations!

As far as being owned by Boyle and Somerset both those programs have owned a lot of teams the last few years. The influx of talent those programs have had surpasses what Danville has had the last four or five years therefore I don't think Coach Harp should be judged to harshly for losing to Boyle and Somerset; arguably the best teams in their classes with two of the better Head Coaches in the state. Don't know why they have not one a tilte the last 9 years. High School football comes down to athletic talent for the most part. If a coach has good talent he wins if not he does not win as much. I think Duke's Coach K said it best last night when asked why he has won 903 games "I have had great players" I do not think they have had the talent level they once had....There is no secret formula good talent makes a coach great, no talent makes a coach bad....Trinity is good because they can get the talent.

No disrespect but Danville is still a great program. We live in a get rid of everyone society. They went to the semi's last year and everyone is hollering get rid of Sam, seriously? Show some loyalty stick with your coach and help create an atmosphere that will help the program be state champs again.

Tough call here....not sure who wins...
