I am all for that and agree. I am just tired of HB and Cellking attacking the program and sometimes you. I respect you for admitting it and trying now to find a positive approach to the situation. I will not attack anymore as long as others stop attacking. I will stand up for the kids and coaches past and present. I have said before Gay and his staff did a good job. The current Coach is doing his best. He does not deserve to be an embarrassed like this that's all. He deserves support just like Gay; Boz; Messer; and all other head coaches past and present deserve. This is a tough time for many districts lot of jobs being lost and pay ckecks being cut. Your not accomplishing your goal of bringing anything to light. You are ridiculing and negatively throwing the entire program and everyone involved past and present in the dirt. You stir the pot like a stale ole grandfather. You know what you are doing but you are doing it the wrong way that's all. There are appropriate channels to handle your concerns. These threads bring shame and dishonor to the kids you claim you are trying to save. Embarrasing everyone involved in the program to include the players on a statewide site is not the right way. You are making the players a laughing stock to get at one person. It's like using a machine gun to kill a fly. It is never right to do the wrong thing especially when it hurts good people and kids. Just exactly how are you helping the kids by keeping your threads going. Are you the answer? Who will come in and do better? Switching people is everyone's right answer. I think MCHS has tried that several times in the past. MCHS is not Bell County, they have never been a decent program my man. One 7-4year does not make a dynasty. Maybe there is a bigger problem lurking out there. Like apathy, diviseness, cut throat politics, backstabbers who under cut the program, jealousy, etc. How has Rob Jones being AD hurt any student? Sounds like a little envy in da house. Your croanies have hurt more students and you know that my man. I think they are playing you LOL.

Sir CELL as a die hard maroon and gold man like you what is the motive behind posting rumors like this. Just curious? Is it helpful? Should you speak with the people involved before spreading things like this on a state wide message board? Are you trying to embarrass the coahes for some reason? Do you not like the coaches? Is there a better way to handle your frustration or questions? Have the coaches done anything to you to warrant such posts that would only embarras and make them look bad? Just wondering why someone like you would do that.

My dear friend the right thing in HB's opinion is dismiss everyone he does not like and put him in the AD where he can capture the hearts of the people and lead MCHS to state titles. In his opinion if he posts enough negative things on message boards there will be a state wide protest of McCreary Athletics which lead to the dismissal of the AD. Then his principal, fearles leaders and croanies will say HB you are our man. In his thinking if he stirs things up enough between people in the program and community someone will see the genuis in his ability and immediately promote him from his current position, all the while he can stay out of the way and play two sides. HB is right, Rob Jones should be absolutely ashamed that he has run a tradition rich football program like McCreary to the ground. I mean before he was AD the football program had a .180 winning percentage, with no playoff appearences and not one winning season and averaged a new coach ever year almost. Good ones got run off. Since he has been AD they have three playoff appearances and 1 winning season and goes to the majority of the games. He is the whole reason MCHS cannot return to glory who cannot see that, only those blinded by their own passion for the game. HB is right he must go, he is the reason for the lack of success. What AD wants their football program to succeed it is ludicrous. HB for AD and Head Football Coach. Stearns rise up!Everyone knows a simple change and leadership will bring the right answer. HB have you ever thought about speaking to Rob Jones about your concerns instead of trashing him on a message forum? I mean I cannot imagine him not listening to you. From reading your posts you are very rational, logical and mature. It would appear to me that anyone that had someone like you in their system would be more than happy to be constructively critisized by someone with such great insight. You are a great problem solver who is able to diagnose a problem in a New York minute. Why would he not be open to the savvy and keen insights that come from your prolific mind? Who would not be open to such sharp and critical analysis of thier program from you. No doubt my friend you are not appreciated enough for your proven and accurate opinions. Tis true wise one. So the question for you is is it the right thing to air all of MCHS dirty laundry on a public forum and make the program look bad to people who are on the outside? Is it the right thing to affirm things that have not been proven? If you feel things are so bad isn't there a more mature and RIGHT way of accomplishing your goal? Just asking master pot stirrer. lol. Your entitled to your opinion. We gotta laugh at this stuff sometimes. People are losing jobs and homes and people are worried about all this. Support your current coach. It takes a few years. Coach Smith is a good man. He needs the communities support to turn it around. So support him. We can play what if all day.

No doubt Payne would turn around the program. His wealth of knowledge and decades of coaching experience is unequaled by anyone. His moral values and straight forward honest approach would get the most out of any kid. He is not someone who undercuts people behind their back. HE is honest and hard working. HE is well liked in the community. HE is someone you could trust your children with. It is hard to imagine Mccreary would let someone of his caliber waste away right under their nose. If Payne were head coach mccreary would have contended for regional titles the last two years. No doubt he would have built upon the only winning season Mccreary ever had. I agree KYRJ coach Payne is the answer look what he has done with the wrestling team after a taking the team in a smooth transition with his brother in law. If there is any fault with the AD it is that he is not a keen coaching talent finder like you.Payne is the answer to raise the mighty Raiders from their two decade slump.

Yeah its too bad. Gay was under the curse of old age. It is too bad he left even though he is old and his quality years are dwindling he had some gas in the tank. His staff was good but thought he was never there. Several of his coaches said he was too old and worn out. His coaches said they ran the practices. They got mad he got the credit and not them for the one banner year mccreary had. Coach Payne ran the team that year and trust me everyone knows it. Getting old can be an S.O.B.

nikeman49, let it go, it is hard to judge the intentions of people's comments in written format. I was using hyperbole to make my point it is not good sportsmanship to beat an undermanned team like SW did. Frankly, if these young men are going to make a stand for their faith in this world their going to have to develope thick skin now. Move on from this my firend. I think the kids will be okay.

how do you know my intentions behind the phrase Jesus freak? Glad to know you know, what you think I meant, some consider it a compliment to be called a Jesus freak, I do and so does DC Talk. Don't read too much into things, I hope river side Christian players are Jesus freaks, that is why I slammed sw for crushing them. Coach O is a good man but we are a 3-16. My suggestion is just relax calm down. I have lived different places and have friends in various places in South Central Ky.

That is too bad. If PCHS plays the way they can they should be going to Rupp, but they need atop playing down to the level of their competition. They are too good to have 7 losses and narrowly beat Mercer at home, they are way to good.....

You know I am just joshin around. Casey has some good ballers and good hearted head coach as GCHS (one of the best BGP posters) pointed out they are young they'll get better in time.
