There is not a limit on the number of players dressed in a regular season game. Why not play your freshman team in this big of a mismatch?

I see no reason to beat someone like this. I know this topic has been debated and beaten like a dead horse but there is still no excuse for this. Put in the subs and run a patient, slow, ball controlled offense.

I don't know how you could keep a straight face when you are up 64-0. I'd be more embarrassed as the winning team.

Looking at Riverside schedule. They have for the most part over-scheduled. Lost to Red Bird 99-32, Buckhorn 98-31, Garrard Co. 91-21 and a few more lopsided losses..

Couldn't Red Bird, Buckhorn and the rest say no? Take a look at the Riverside schedule and tell me which teams should have told them no.

If Garrard County beat them 91-21 then I feel fine with the 109-21 score from Southwestern and that is with all due respect to Garrard County. Seeing these scores I'd be shocked if any starters were on the floor halfway through the 2nd quarter.

There's a slight difference between Buckhorn and Red Bird, and Southwestern. Red Bird has around 100 students, Buckhorn about 200. Southwestern probably has around 800. Plus, Red Bird and Buckhorn have always been on Riverside's schedule. I mean, they have to play someone.

 

But I have no idea why they would want to schedule Garrard County, Southwestern, Shelby Valley, Lawrence County, Letcher Central, Shelby County, and others. The man who ran Riverside Christian for around 30 years, the late Doran Hofstetler (he coached every sport, both girls and boys, and was principal) would have never over scheduled like this. It's not fair to the players. He always tried to play the smaller schools, which was easier back then before consolidation closed down many of them.
