Players play whomever lines up against them. This is all on whomever thought it was a good idea to schedule such an undermanned opponent.

I'm sure the RC coach will contact you before making out next years schedule to be sure it's OK for you. Just as the Ryle football coaches are sure to be contacting to get your keen insight on coaching philosophies.

To no one's surprise I will gladly share my thoughts.

To most everyone's great surprise, I'm going to agree with cammando here. If both schools agree to the game, who's to ask why? It seems as though RC is looking to do something, and this is the way they think they can get there. Kudos to the team for playing 2 games in one day with only 5 players. Says alot about their moxie! They could have forfeited but went out and played.

I expect adults to use their brain and not put bad games together. Neither side was very smart in scheduling this one. The Riverside Christian coach needs to take a step back and see what he needs to do to help his team. Being down 64-0 at halftime tells me he doesn't have grasp on what he needs to do. The Southwest coach needs to look out for his team and try to make them better.

 

Both failed.

Posting the score like it's something to be really proud of is worse than the scheduling the game.

Again, All INVOLVED in the game had no problem. The RC kids and the SW kids had a good time. Great camaraderie before, during, and after the game. The players and students had fun mixing together after the game. New friends were made and the atmosphere was great. To the ones NOT involved, your opinion doesn't mean squat.

No one is disputing the fact that SW kids had to play. Imo the issue is at what point do you call of the dogs off? I mean c'mon man, you can't think beating middle school Jesus Freaks by 88 points is the right thing to do do you? Have some mercy on the little fellas. Why would you allow this to happen as a fan. You should be appalled, you should have demanded justice for these tiny tikes, instead you post and defend this herodian type execution of Riverside Christian. How could you

If you're such an expert, maybe you should contact Riverside Christian and ask to volunteer to help coach. Sounds like you're much more in the know with what he needs to do with his kids and his program than he is. Have some respect for both. Where does "respect" come into this? All I'm doing is questioning the thinking (or lack thereof) that went into scheduling this game.

Mr. Clyde can't you see the 88 point win was to help them build confidence for teams like George Rogers Clark. How dare you express your opinions here, who do you think you are sir? If you are so smart you should be a volunteer coach somewhere, besides no one cares what your opinion is, that is why they spend time responding back defending the decision and then letting you know they don't give a squat about your opinion. Didn't you know you have to a coach to have an opinion? Didn't you know having an opinion is the same as being judgemental, c'mon Clyde get in the game man:cool:
