Looks like Russell County is the best team in the 12th Region.

Purple this is what I am talking about. How can PCHS lose to RCHS? I know RCHS is no slouch and beat Southwestern but c'mon man.

The ebbs and flows of the Maroons' season.

Isn't Russell County in the 4th region?

Beating Southwestern and Pulaski County tells me they must be pretty legit. If a 12th region team did that they would be the #1 team in the region wouldn't they. Russell County has only lost 4 games so far.

Yes. They are also undefeated against their neighboring 12th region teams including wins over the top two teams from the 12th.

They used to be in the 12th before the most recent redistricting about 7 years ago.

Russell Co has a nice team, they are well coached, shoot the ball well, take good disciplined shots, rebound well and all their kids play their roles. They are not a team you would be afraid to play if they were in your region but you certainly better respect them and bring your A game.

RC is on a nice little roll. They probably played their worst ball of the season here in Mason County's holiday tournament, but it looks like they've put that behind them.

That is understandable, since their leading scorer, rebounder, playmaker and top player Tyler Robertson was unable to play in any of the 3 games in Mason County. Understandablly, the lakers went 0-3 during that time.

I believe your information is incorrect , lakers went 1-2 in Mason County beating maybe Pike County and Robertson may not be leading in rebounds on team.
