I just read the update thread and saw where PC dominated this game and let Southwestern back in it.

 

I knew I liked PC better than Southwestern at this point.

Thought Southwestern would win. Great win for Pulaski..Congrats!!!!

Is Pulaski good this year? How do they compare to Mason County,who they play next weekend?

They'll beat Mason County, IMO. Very good team with a very good point guard with range to 25 feet and Kody Johnson is a do-it-all player. It looks like their help is coming along nicely also.

Gover had 38 and Johnson had 24 to lead Pulaski. Kapinga had 29 for SWHS.

Pulaski let a 24 point lead slip away due to the relentless pressure SW brought the second half. Gover put on a clinic the first half scoring 25 before the break.

Kapinga is easily the best player for SW. He reminds me of Hickey last year for Christian County. He took over the game for SW the second half. SW got a stud from Canada!!

Yes. Gover may be about 6'0". Johnson about 6'2" maybe. Johnson is a great athlete also.

He has the ability to take over a game. It seemed like he and the coach were having a tug of war at the Mercer tourney as he wasn't running the offense like the coach wanted. He's a nice player. Looks like Gover rose to the challenge.
