Prayers from Raceland are certainly going out for the young Mr. Dalton. May God watch over him, protect him and be with the medical staff working on/testing him. Also prayers go out for his family and the Willamsburg Football family.

Congrats to Hazard on the win and good luck in the semi finals.

Tough loss for the Jackets tonight. My message to tye players woud be not to hang your head, from what your fans said you were not picked to do much this season and you believed in yourselves and made a heckuva run that included a District Championship, two playoff victories and a Region Final.

Congrats to the Williamsburg Football team on a fine season.I am sure that the state A teams have not heard the last of you.

Congratulations to Hazard on the win.

Congrats to Hazard and good luck...Williamsburg had 4 trips inside the red zone, 3 of the those inside the 12 and got no points, the Hazard D was tough...Losing Sizemore was just too much to overcome for the Jackets...Can't wait to see this young bunch of Jackets get back on the field next year...Congrats on a great season guys...

Great post Old Jacket. Who knows, with both teams returning alot maybe the Rams and Jackets might meet next season. I hope that your guys have a good off season, work hard and be ready to go next year. :thumb:

Thanks for all the support this year from the Raceland folks oldrambler...

Wow, four red zone stops with no points is very impressive.

Tough loss Friday for the Jackets. Losing Sizemore hurt terribly. A bright spot though was after that adversity the Jackets held Hazard to little if nothing in the second half. There are some things about the game I won't comment on , but I do congratulate Hazard on the win. I look forward to several years to come as the Jackets started 7 freshemen and only one to two seniors on either side of the ball. To those few seniors...thanks for the memories. You are the class that got us back into the region finals, and are the building blocks for future success. You will always be a Jacket and should carry that in your hearts with pride. Let the lessons learned on the field the past 4 years carry you through all the challenges life offers. To the young Jackets...like a burning coal hold fast to how you felt after the game Friday night...let it slowly burn for the next few months until it becomes a raging fire in your heart as you begin next year...Looking for great things to come from you all...work hard in the offseason ...dream big...and make it your task to make your dreams come true...as you go into the future let this one saying be your mantra

NEVER SETTLE!

JACKET PRIDE!
