  • As the former parent of a player who's kid didn't get to play much, if at all, I can say that I understand where your question comes from. Admittedly, there were times that I would be frustrated for

We will only have to travel to Dixie highway next Friday. I'm hearing Butler beat Henderson County in overtime 31-24.That helps.

Tennessee down. Indiana down. Ohio down. We slayed the tiger twice. Now on to south Louisville.

Congratulations to Trinity for continuing on with an excellent season. I didn't have any doubts that the Rocks would win, but figured it may have been a little closer this time around.

St X outgained Trinity's running back by 11 yards.

With all due respect the new look X looked a lot like the old X.

Trinity dominated from start to finish. Dawkins was a man tonight. Any word of what was going on with Quick on the sideline? He was on the training table for much of the 4th and did not get up to shake hands.

Felt like both teams played better overall last outting.

Glad to see we only have to travel to Butler.

The margin was 1 point more this time. First game was 41-6. People were saying that X had really improved. I guess the Shamrocks did, too.

It looked like Dr. Rueff was looking at James's left knee.

Great win Rocks. Tought to beat the #2 team in your class once, let alone twice.

Close the book on the first year of the Super District:

Win 41-6 St. X

Win 58-7 Manual

Win 49-0 Male

Win 55-0 Manual

Win 42-6 St. X

5-0, outscored opponents 245-19, average game 49-3.

3 down, 2 to go!

A quiet night for Mr. Quick, 4 catches for about 27 yards. Dawkins took up the slack & more, 24 carries - 236 yards, 2 tds. Not the sharpest passing night for Wright, 15-27 (with a handful of drops by his buds). Mattingly was a dismal 1-8 with a pick in the first half but finished 9-20. Walker was only rb to run for 100 yards on T's defense this year, he had 16 carries for 100. I don't think either team played as well as they could, X could not take advantage of early interception and could not punch it in on 4th down just before half. I thought the X play calling was terrible. No imagination whatsoever. X had a nice 8 minute drive in the 2nd half but there was no urgency to score and try to come back from the 29-0 deficit. Looked like they were playing not to be blown out. I really expected more out of the Tigers. I thought the player changes and 5 game roll they were on would make them a formidable opponent. Nope. On to Shively now for round 4! P.S. Qiuck had ice on his knee but did finally make it to midfield (limping) after the game.

Just received a text from someone close to situation that James Quick may have torn his ACL. Not confirmed, but it's looking pretty serious. Fingers crossed its just strained.

What are you saying? Dawkins had 225+ yards rushing and no one on X gained over 100 yds...
