  • As the former parent of a player who's kid didn't get to play much, if at all, I can say that I understand where your question comes from. Admittedly, there were times that I would be frustrated for

Just received a text from someone close to situation that James Quick may have torn his ACL. Not confirmed, but it's looking pretty serious. Fingers crossed its just strained.

That would not be good news for the basketball team, either.

I certainly hope that is not the case. I know we have had some injuries to key players this year - but seemed to have rebounded and reloaded. I have been amazed (and thankful) that those who touch the ball the most -- have escaped anythng serious. I know all wish him well and the best.

Put another way, Trinity has a running clock versus every Kentucky opponent on average for 2 years.

I think I predicted a closer game all the way around but boy was I way off.:lol:

I could only stay at the game until mid 2nd quarter. Anyone want to post some specifics about the game? Who scored, etc??

Last but not least. To the person that interrupted my conversation while talking with some of my friends upstairs. I don't have any idea who you are or why you thought it was ok to say something so random to me? :idunno: Sooooo random and a bit creepy...just sayin!

^ Sorry, I thought that you would know who I was.

Nice one!

You know I never am at a loss for words :D but I was last night when that happened. Even the people I was talking to were like HUH?!!!

Can anyone shed any light on how James was injured?
Hard to tell. Think he got hurt a play or two before he came off the field. At first it was thought to be an ACL tear. Just heard word, that it's an LCL sprain. Much better outlook. That being said, I don't imagine he'll play the last two games.

Thank you. Much better news. Just want him to be ok.

I love the internet. It's a wonderful thing. Can't always believe everything you read but it's a wonderful thing.

Glad to hear that his injury is not as bad as was being assumed.
