The most interesting moment in the game was when a Dixie player slipped with the ball and fell to the floor for an obvious walk. I believe it was a 2 possession game at the time. The ref was going to give the ball back to Dixie. A very interesting meeting occurred at mid court when the ref was going to explain his call to the Holy Cross coaching staff. Only problem was he was dealing with assistant coach Rob Allen who used to be in charge of evaluating officials. I read Rob's lips when he said "you're not allowed to make that call". Holy Cross ball. I would have loved to see the Holy Cross coaching staff if that call was not reversed. I've witnesses players slip on floors for 40 years and 100% percent of the time the ball goes to the defense. That would have been a very memorable moment. Gutty performance by Holy Cross.

I agree with you assessment that we should have played man, but wouldn't you typically play zone against a poor shooting team? That seems backwards. We held them to 21 points the first half, only because they were ice cold. They hit 9 three's. They made open shots.

Not quite sure what your point is, a color man, is still a broadcaster. Gary was asked to do this at 3:00 PM and was on the air at 7:30 for the first time. Best first time color man not named Jason Elfers I ever worked with. I hope you were trying to be funny.

If CovCath wins they play at noon on Saturday, lose and they play at 10:30 Saturday morning.

Well, I'm going to bed and I will be sleeping better knowing that so many are so concerned about our well being. It's so hard to be the hunted all the time.

Coach Sullivan coaches his rump off. His kids play as hard as any. They were riding their first 3 game winning streak in school history when CovCath pulled out the 3 point win. Signature win because it was against ryle, boone or conner, the big 3 in their district and county.

How sad is it that some coaches can't get jobs at their former schools, have to come to a down school like covcath, then get fired from there?
