  1. Nice talk from an ubiased member of the media there Walter.
  2. Please tell me his name is pronounced with a long I and not like "greaser". That would be weird saying that.
  3. Thanks Q. And it's going to take us a long, long time to cacth up with the hours logged by Brossart's Dave Schabell. He's the master.
  4. CovCath won the first quarter against Male by 8, lost 2nd by 12, lost 3rd by 4 and 4th by 4. Approximately.
  5. Three things, Death, taxes and the complaint that volunteers for a certain school are supposed to be Jim Nance and Phil Sims and show no bias. As for CCH adding video, it's more money, more computer power, and as you know, it's hard enough to find a color man, finding a full time camera man will be just another added complication.
  6. Paul Ritter from CovCath put some of the biggest hits I saw all year.
  7. Don't know, but I do know that this blog is not big enough for two oldguys!
  8. Simply put, Travis Elliott ws the best player on the field and refused to let his team lose. Glad I went.
  9. The only thing that Holy Cross football affected was Holy Cross soccer. They had won 3 straight regional titles and since, zero.
  10. Once again, everyone has fallen hook, line and sinker for Spartan79's stirred pot. DO NOT believe this garbage.
  11. I'd say this season had unfulfilled goals. I would think that they wanted to have a winning record and make it past the 2nd round. Neither of those things happened.
  12. I knew that woman was going to drag me down some day.
  13. People, stop replying to this thread. It's obviously made up to get a rise out of people, from someone so close to the program they can't spell Coach Wirth's name correctly. Don't dignify it with a response.
  14. Only one team ends with a win. Sure hope I don't have to remind you of that next week, but I'll keep a note.
  15. It's out there, but it takes a little bit for us to bring it up. We do it a few times. Pretty funny. I'm still laughing at Flotsam's picture.
  16. Hey BF, hope you appreciated the scores brought to you by Grandma Baumgardner on Friday night? Greg and I were having some fun with it. Even got a few emails. Hoped you were listening. I'm not busting chops, I'm serious.
  17. Wow, I almost forgot. JC faithful, we brought our "bag" to Ft. Thomas this year and the Bluebirds had not scouted us very well and they kicked off to Paul Ritter and then no one for Highlands could not catch him. You remember that game, the one where a tipped ball at the end was just a few inches from our receiver's hands that would have tied the score?
  18. I think Mel Turpin played for Bryan Station.
  19. Good one. Yep, #1 in our district, yet #2 in NKY. Guess you left them in the bag for the Ryle game too.
  20. Two more points of concerns for Highlands. The Bluebirds typically score off special teams and defense. Johnson Central will eliminate Highlands ability to return kicks as they squib and kick away from your deep guys. Also, they almost never throw the ball, so don't expect any points on INT returns. Two weapons you can leave in the bag.
  21. Oh contraire, I went to school with him at TMC starting in 1982 as a freshman. I was born in June of 1964. Here's his bio. David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Robert and Nettie Justice. His father left the family when Justice was two years old. Justice graduated from Covington Latin School in Covington, Kentucky at age 16 in 1982. He skipped the seventh and eighth grades. He then attended Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky majoring in Criminal Justice.
  22. Her name is Marlena and for those of you that were not listening, she's also blind. This young lady is an inspriration to everyone. Very personable and as pleasant a person to be around you'll ever meet. She was runner up in an Idol singing contest recently.
