Instant classic. Many chances for both teams to win. The 5th foul on Ruthsatz was extremely questionable. Pendleton player turned into Ruthsatz who was closing in on him. All I know is Ruthsatz is the one with blood running down his face after the contact. After that 4 free throws and the ball for Pendleton. Sorry that is how it was decided. We were not live, but the archive is out there.

Where Does Pat Towles Rank in NKY History?
CovCathiRadio replied to Clyde's topic in KY Football (High School)
Does Sam Diehl get on this list anywhere? And Kyle Callahan just won the Euro Bowl. -
I also love watching this team. I am keeping it real though. The 4 teams they have lost to have a combined record of 30-13 and the teams they have beaten have a combined record of 26-51. That is counting Cleveland's 4-7 record twice. They need to get a win against Houston and Baltimore to show they are in that upper tier. Don't get me wrong, I'm so impressed with what they've done, but they've beaten the bad teams and lost to the good teams. The only win against a team with a winning record is Tennessee.

I am glad the streak is over. Sorry my boy missed it his senior season, but it was nice to have him home. That being said, one of the worst games I've ever watched. It's a shame someone had to win this game. And I missed most of the Michigan/Ohio State game for it.

Kelsey Sorrell Memorial Pre season Scrimmages
CovCathiRadio replied to 23000 Fan's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Hey PaNDA, please don't think that I was putting you in that catetory. I agree, it's like seeing your girlfriend with another guy. But people actaully came up to me and said Listerman came into the gym with all of his Holmes gear on and said it meaning, he should not have. Just remember everyone, he would have rather been in Colonel Blue yesterday. -

I heard people bashing that he wore his Holmes gear. People, you got what you wanted. Can you please leave the man alone. -
Anyone know of a public servant with a siren and light on their car that can get me to Ft. Thomas from East Walnut Hills in 30 minuntes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to Carolyn Smith for her helping out with parking by the way! Nice Lady. A rose among thorns.

Dave Campbell, it would be a huge step up in talent for a great coach. -
Covington Catholic at Ashland Predictions
CovCathiRadio replied to Clyde's topic in KY Football (High School)
CovCath/Ashland thread has more posts and views than the HHS/Johnsonville thread. Just don't ever remember seeing more interest in a CovCath game than anyone HHS was playing. Just saying. -
Covington Catholic 38 Rowan County 7
CovCathiRadio replied to Birdsfan's topic in KY Football (High School)
As just about always, CovCath one of the only places where a 31 point win gets such criticism. Dropped passes, Bir was not sharp, did not run enough.......unreal. Congrats to the Colonel players and coaches. One of the most fun teams to watch in a long time. Sad we only have 4 more games to enjoy them. -
Who will play QB for Dixie this week?
CovCathiRadio replied to uk#1fan's topic in Controversial Issues
I'm starting to feel for the kid. I may be in the minority in my sympathy, but he obviously has lost sight of what's important. From the stories I've heard about alcohol and drugs, no one from any school should be casting stones. I hope he gets this behind him and he has learned from it and moves on to become a model team mate and citizen. This should be a wake up call to the adults involved in his life as well. I would not want to be a principal today for anything. Also, walk a mile in their shoes before you judge them as well.
