CovCath Offensive line

Featured Replies

I've been hearing a lot of respect given to the big boys for CCH over the past few weeks, and rightfully so. I think they proved that they can go toe to toe with just about anyone. A comment was made in another thread that said they might be the best offensive line in the state(of course behind Trinity..). To me, that is saying an awful lot about this years Oline play for the Colonels. Are they really that good? Or are they just a solid Oline?

Also I was wondering, what's the class make-up(Seniors,Juniors,etc) of the starting five?

Very very good...I believe they are all seniors..

Strong O-line. Who knows if they're the best in the state. T's is pretty good as well.

One junior (2 if you count TE)

Spencer Hemmer.

Put on a lot of size since last year.

A better DL than TE.

Dan Sandfoss is the only junior. Henderson is going to open his own IHOP with all his pancakes. I mean, jake-cakes.

Relax, chief. He was making a statement about his YTD performance and not just Highlands. You guys need to chill a bit. Breathe, breathe. It was just a compliment to a good kid who is doing well.

I noticed they run away from him quite a bit.

Some of them are what they are Clyde. Like the scorpian and the frog. It's their nature. But I'm sure Jake will appreciate your comments. He's working his rump off. Nice to see it paying off. Having his way with every d-line he's gone up against. Loved the quote by Coach Dale in the paper about having to remind his team they won. Sound like a bunch that really enjoyed looking up at the SCOREBOARD.

Behind Trinity, they very well could be.

Following up on Jake Henderson you have to realize he hasn't had a "home" as far as a position goes until this year. Heck, last year he even had to change numbers during the season after they de ided midseason to make him an O lineman.

Glad to see him having success.
