Not sure what some posters are basing the good/great coach comments on for the Camel's last coach. The kicking game were squib kicks all year. Ray Charles could read the offense, and the defense was (like most other Highlands guys) is what Mueller ran when he played there, but without the personnel. All very vanilla. His strong points are that he is a great young man that promotes loyalty to the team and school. I don't think that experience is that important for the new coach(as coaches can be very bad for a long time). Personally would love to see Coach Mason next/this year.

Never heard of this guy before, but after the shock of Lickert leaving the way he did I was hoping for someone close to program to take over.

First of all it's offensive and defensive linemen. Most of the games I've watched this year were in NKY and being my star is a defensive tackle I've watched some very fine offensive lineman play. Problem there I've never heard their names

It seems to me that Eastern has a stingy defense. Camels will have to get their passing game on to keep the Eagles from keying on Dowds, and keep their best defense on the field if they want to play next week. Also interesting is the 6 6A NKY teams are playing 6 6A Jefferson county area teams(- Trinity & X)

If that happens where would it be played?

I wouldn't overlook coach Borchers or the Cooper team in this one. When is the last time the Camels have won on a grass field. I'm rooting for the camels but don't see Cooper falling that far in one year.

Camels got homered this game big time. First cakeater td camel defender was horse collered by #65 in front of the line judge. Pick six block in the back they pick up the flag??? I saw it, it happened. No way CCHS should have lost this game but they did.

Coaching battle all the way. Talent level is close to the same.

The offensive lineman on both teams had very good games IMO. Camel's blocked better than I've seen in a long time, and Dixie seemed to be able to contain the Camel defense to the inside whenever they wanted.

I would have to say that Miles rather than Fleek was the star of the Royals/Squad game. Plus the Squad overall team discipline at the end of the game. De Miles will be a very special player to watch the next couple of years

Sounds like a lot of nice teams out there this year. It would be great if there was a way to know where the best competition will be playing each week so the teams don't end up in a like 3 team tournament or a tournament with starter teams only. Just saying there's only so many weeks and making the most of each one would be great

From the first thread on here that compairs a casual fan/parent to a near perfect coach I'd have to say you're right. So if you saw on your studying of your films that your players couldn't tackle you would fix that or your corners couldn't cover you would change something or a defense could read your plays before the snap that you have to do something different. Or if you are platooning but you don't have enough good players for both sides of the ball. So a great coach recognizes all this and fixes it before they loose games over it?

Bracken has a ton to prove. Mainly they don't need the officials to win. Crawford can score whenever he wants. The Bears can control the paint and get way more shots than the Camels. Is that enough??

We're all screwed when any kind of an official has the opportunity to correct an injustice and won't.

Conner is an ok team. Judging themselves against CC isn't a true gauge of how good they are. Campbell is in complete disaster at this point. The platoon system does not work for them. The seniors play first system does not work. The cornners are a target for anyone that scouts their games and the coaches are not working as hard as the players. The players are there to put a much better team on the field. IMHO it's all on the coaching
