No, there was a big for Holmes 7th grade last year at the districts at Highlands that the refs fouled out that could have taken them to the regionals. I mean the refs there took him out.

Just saying, the big kid from Holmes 7th last year could be super if he had more game experience. Rakwan is really good, Rankin can play good inside and outside. 8th grade is going to be competive this year and fun to watch. All the answers Valentin's day 2015.

If Dontea is not the best 13 yr old in NKY then who is please?? If he was playing freshmen last year as a 7th grader it's not likley we'll be seeing him play 8th this year. He has an Anthony Davis build and over the past off season has picked up his game considerably.

For the sake of competion, I'd rather have all the 8th graders play 8th. V Rankin will be the focus of Gray's team in 8th but as a freshman his focus may be the bench. There has also been some talk of Rakwan Williams of Turkeyfoot moving up,and I'd hate to see that. These good players make all the games more fun to watch, and also make their team mates better.

Holy Cross had a great team that year, but Hightchew's high ankel sprain 3 weeks before that game was the only reason HC won that game, and you can thank Beechwood for that. I love Holy Cross and was very proud of their St. championship but the facts are the facts. This year's NCC vs Beechwood game to me is all about the line play. NCC's d- ends needs to contain and pressure the QB, and on the offensive side need to find the right combination of players to open holes and protect their QB. That's prety basic football and right now Beechwood is doing it and NCC isn't.

So anyway the NKYFL continues their playoffs this weekend with 25 games. yes folks that's 50 teams of kids and daddy coaches and mommy cheerleaders that won't be playing x-box and watching TV this weekend.

IMHO i don't think that many of the kids and coaches in the BCPWFL, FTJFL, or the NKYFL feel the season is too long. In the NKMSAA half the teams were done 2 weeks ago some having played only 7 games. The championships are this weekend, and that's it, so 3 months for so few games?

Thanks to the FTJFL for hosting this game. Saw all three 7&8th grade teams play Wednesday. They were all well coached teams with tons of talent. I don't think I would give this up to join the NKMSAA or the KMSAA.

So okay folks, for many of the parents and guardians for the NKMSAA football kids this could be the last day of the year. It's also the first day of good football weather. Since the first day of practice back in hot July 2 1/2 months ago till today this might just be your 8th and final game. Even though you probably know who your team is playing and how they did, aren't you curious about the other teams? Will Ludlow 7&8th get a rematch with Twenhofel 6&7th or will my cc 8th grade team avenge all their losses this year and win the large school championship? Tichnor stands in their way! Are Walton and Beechwood set up to meet in the middle division? Maybe I'm just ate up with this but after 2 1/2 months of cleaning uniforms, making sure my player is properly nourished, driving to and watching practice & games, am I wrong to be curious about how our teams are doing compared to other teams?

The Eteamz.com shows only a proposed schedule for football, volleyball, and boys & girls basketball at the beginning of their seasons. I have never seen standings or a score on that site for any sport. The only way that you can get ANY information for these events is to search forums. By the way thanks plantman my for what scores and standings you post.

No,that's the way it's broken down.probably your brother-in-law was privy to standings and scores. Nkmsaa doesn't make any information available except for schedules that I know of and thought you had a source
