Thanks Coach Styer for all you have done for the Campbell County program. When is the next, and where is the next Campbell County Boosters meeting?

I thought they were traveling on the yellow box buses. Are they going first class for sure? Definatly captian's chairs are better than bench seats, and a couple of good movies should help consume part of the 4 hour trip. That being said, Corbin seems by their stats to be simialar to NCC., and has a very high take away ratio. 24 ints. on the year & 12 fumble rec.. Ball control game? Take care of the ball, and keep Corbin's offense off the field.

The 3-4 hour bus trip may be NCC's first big hurdle in this game, as it is for any traveling team. Last year's game at Desales, IMO NCC came out flat, and never recovered. This team's farthest trip has been 30 miles to Ryle. If the game is at 7-7:30, when do you start your day? Where do you eat dinner? How long do you get to the game site before the game to shake off the stiffness, and exuastion from the trip? Those are just the questions I have for me, and the three people in my car. This might be Coach Ed's biggest calls of the year. How do you work this into your game plan?

I thought that Bill only played vollyball, and tennis! Realy an example of attitude, and the will to compete, and excel at what you do. A great influnce to all those fortunate to play with him. Typical Cake Eater!!

Zoom in on the football. You see his left hand facing his body, and against his chest. The only posestion he has is touching the ball with his right thumb. At midfield it would not have even been called a fumble. Great game both teems, now lets bring home some rings!

The formula was/is 8.4 times total yards, plus 330 times touchdowns, minus 200 times interceptions, plus 100 times number of completions,,, divided by pass attempts. It is what it is, a passer's rating. I agree that if I see a 6'5'' 250lb. QB running at me I'm getting out of his way. The guy who won the Superbowl last year was 6'0'' 210lbs.

A couple of weeks ago someone posted a formula to get a quarterback's passing rating. If someone was ambitious enough to take all the stats listed for each QB, and run them through the formula you would then at least have a rating for each QB in No. Ky.. Taking into acount the running/scrambling ability, like Lawrence, Pike, Towels, and Hightchew have iis harder to rate, but it certainly makes a difference on how a defense has to play. I did Hightchew's QB rating when that thread came out it was 173. What is your QB's rating?

It's too hard to get on Dale's schedule. He has to do a lot of research to make sure your teem will have a down year when they play.

Over the last couple of years that I have been reading the threads on BGP there almost is always a inferance to the kids at CC partying too much to be good in sports. My point was that they partyed no more than anyone else. As for the ALL STAR coment you left out the No. Ky. part and might I add So. Ohio to that group. You are right they work their butts off, and well deserving of their records and alcomplishments

Honestly I'm very proud of Ryle. I have family on the teem, and was looking forward to seeing them beat the Cake Eaters, but unless somthing somthing drastick happens I don't see it happening. Good luck at SK. As far as the bold statement goes you are right , just getting pumped for the future.

My son wiil play for Campbell County in 5 years. I don't care who plays for NewCath, Highlands, or Brossart. I want him to play for Troy Styer, and his staff, and I want the Camels to win a state championship in 6A when he plays. What can I do to make that happen? I gaurantee that if CC played Ryle next week (with or without Travis Elliot) they would win. The attitudes at CC are changing. The nepotisim that has held back CC athletics for so many years is gone. The best athletes will be on the field in all sports. Our kids at Campbell County will be able to hold their heads up in any crowd. Who are the idiots that say that CC kids are all about partying, and not playing ball? I know kids from Highlands, Beechwood, NCC, and most otheer No. Ky. schools. They all all party some. Wer'nt we all 16 once? Campbell County has some great players coming up. Though they are not the the No. Ky. all stars like Highlands they take the kids from their district and play the best with them. That will be enough to win. Hang in there Troy we're on our way!

Zeke Pike is simply an amazing athelete. To be a main part of a prety good defense, and a very good quarterback in the same game is a whole lot to ask of a young man. Put Patrick Towels at middle LB on defense, and see how well he does in the 4th qtr. if he can make it that far.

The Highlands faithful had no problem with that sentiment when they had their 7 on 7 with Trinity before the season started. They lost, but all you read was how good they looked!

Is Brossart ready for 2A next year?

Pike is an amazing player. A quarterback , and defensive captian may on ocaision need to comunicate with the sideline. their dialoge, no matter how brash it may seem to someone else might be perfectfully normal for those comunicatting.

How about we looked bad in winning? Does that mean you were lucky to win? Raiders were lucky to win the last three weeks. At the beginning of the year a game againt Ryle, Highlands, or T, and X might have been a gauge of how your program is doing, and yes you are right Raiderbird, looking good against Ryle right now is ridiculous way to gauge how well your teem is doing. Campbell County is playing better every week. Some extra work on special teems wins them some games the rest of the season. To the players , and everyone else in the Camel program keep up the good work,.

Why would anyone imply that HHS did not play their best? If any one player on the field was not, wouldn't Coach Dale get them out of the game? Highlands always plays their best no matter who is on the feild. To say that if Dixie had a few breaks they could have won should not be discounted by saying Highlands had a bad game. Good teems make their own breaks. Highlands won 42-14, all breaks included. Look forward to seeing Towles vs. Pike 2011?

Mayfield's opponent's record so far this year is 10 wins and 24 losses , including an overtime win against 3A Paducah Tilgham(4-2). Maybe the question would be a better one if they soundly beat Pad. Til.

Ryle makes everybody else look better every week

In no way, shape ,or form should NCC be able to compete with Campbell County. CC has 750 boys to NCC's 215. CC draws the lions share of the kids from the Red Devil program, NCC gets a few. CC has good facilities, NCC's are meager. Why is this even a game? I pick NCC by 2-3 TDs

If NCC beats Ryle is the question. Family Fued style answers. 1. and Ryle beats Highlands at Ryle, Highlands becomes the #2 ranked teem in Campbell County! 2. Dixie and SK look much better. 3. Number of boys in your school means nothing compaired to good coaching. 4. Pre-season hype about D1 running backs, and D1 quarterbacks means nothing unless their playing in December.5. NCC must have a very good teem. 6. And the top answer I would be very surprised.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge Dixie at this point. NCC played a good game and their secondary is much improved. (tackling drills may be in order for them this week) Dixie has some realy good athletes, and should put it all together soon.

Better throwers have better completion percentages. Half of NCC's game last night was passing. As Clyde said earlier only one pass was downfield which the kid droped?? IMHO the key to the game was turnovers that lit a fire under NCC.
