  1. Like what height. That is the only thing he has over Lawrence. Lawrence has out performed him in every aspect this season. It is a shame that height and not talent are more important!
  2. Ryle could potentially have to beat SK in the 3rd round if both teams make it that far. I would expect a great rematch if it happens. It was a close game last time and one that SK could have won with the exception of going for it on 4th and goal in OT. Hope the rematch happens!!
  3. I agree. It all comes down to coaching. SK has had a very talented pool of kids over the last 3 years. I firmly believe that you can have all the talent in the world on your team but, if the coaching is not there then you still have nothing. If not for the talent and drive to win of these young men, then who knows where SK would have ended up these last few years.
  4. I believe SK beat them twice that year. Once in the regular season and then in the Championship game.
  5. Lawrence from SK leads the state in total offense according to Maxpreps. He gets my vote at this point!!
  6. I read all the posts about SK and this is about the best one I have read to date. Since they put Lawrence in QB they have been a great ball team. Able to win state, posssibly, never count anyone out. Their O-line is getting better now their RB core needs to follow suit.
  7. It is too bad that talent and recruiting is based on size. Chad is a true winner and would be an asset to any team. O-line or not he produces when on the field. It is too bad that he was injured for the Middletown game.
  8. The outcome would have been different if Lawrence was healthy for the game. They may not have won but they would have scored. It is hard to scramble and run with his injury and throw. They never should have let him play.
  9. Probably not. Rumor has it that a lot of the SK starters are note playing so they do not get hurt.
  10. It is not just Miles Simpson. There are a lot of good football players that are underclassmen at SK that came together as freshman. They are seniors this year so we will see what happens. It takes more than one player to make a team a contender two years running. The quarterback put up some good #'s this year and will only be better next year. I see SK going deep into the playoffs next season as well!
  11. I wouldn't count SK out as 6A champs. This will be the undefeated freshman team as seniors. There is still a lot of talent on that team and I wouldn't count them out as the last two years have shown.
