10 Good
  1. Going to the WingT will definitely help make them more competitive. Shrink the game and play sound defense, sounds like a good move.
  2. Georgia State and Colerain... I say yes the triple option is definitely getting installed at GRC. Defense will most likely be an odd front with 2 high safeties. Good luck to the new coach, I think GRC should be winning yr in and yr out.
  3. Congrats to Coach Engler!! I have worked with him in the past and he is a great guy. Very bright coach on the cutting edge of the game.
  4. Honestly, I think the increased demand in the classroom has added to the stresses that have always been there. I also feel that an increasing # of administrators will not back their coaches against unruly parents. The state of education has increasingly become about passing the buck and with that approach what is best for kids gets lost. That being said those that coach for a long time (i.e., Ray Graham, Bob Schneider, Dale Mueller, Coach Hayward, etc) are special people!!! In a world with a lack of role models and people that give up more than they take, coaches that dedicated their lives to others should be respected, honored and protected. Sorry I may have gotten off topic and went on a rant.
  5. Caldwell Co platooned and has become a 2A power. I think if you can do it at a small school you can gain a HUGE advantage.
  6. I seriously doubt it is anyone from NKY. I could be wrong but I see an outsider getting this job. Again this all goes out the window if they can't get a their hire a job in the building. Oh and Ryle can't afford Bob Sphire. Maybe a guy like Mark Perry???
  7. Has anyone mentioned Bubba Paris? Desales grad, University of Michigan (All American), San Fran 49ers, Multiple Superbowls...oh and NFL and I believe College Football Hall of Fame!!! Has anyone from this state accomplished more??? He's at least top 3 players ever from the Commonwealth. I guess because he's a lineman he's easy to forget. hahaha
  8. Lloyd offense had a bunch of yards tonight! Only one score on the D. T Mejolagbe with 3 catches for 119 yds and a TD.
  9. format was 10 plays O 10 plays D. They also played against Gamble (Cincy Charter School). Lloyd gave up a couple long runs to Gamble to their speedy back and shout Bethal out of the endzone. They also had 3 INTs on D. Lloyd scored 3 TDs on Gamble and I believe 3 on Bethal. They got two series against Bethal and 2 1/2 against Gamble. Not sure how it translates to "real football" in 7 days.
  10. Yep that Arrogant head coach sure cost them a close one! Maybe you should have a clue before you open your mouth. If this guy is so terrible then why didn't his kids quit on him? Why did they continue to fight and never give up? Why did they do something tonight that they haven't done in a while? You know what I think you should go call the guy names to his face...... GO JUGGS!!!!!!!
  11. Having district maintenance staff take care of your football field is a BAD IDEA!!!!! There are hundreds of districts that have ruined beautiful playing surfaces by handing the care over to maintenance guys! I believe that the correct numbers are right around $20,000 per year for a football field to be taken care of. If you throw in the rate of inflation (which averages 4% a year) the turf definitely pays for itself, especially, since the cost of turf continues to go DOWN every year. Remember when DVD players were like $400.00? haha.
  12. Amen! Didn't Bellevue beat Newport last year????
