Who wins?

I hate to be on the fence here, but this one is a toss up. Twist my arm and I'll say HHS by 3, but this appears to be a very even matchup to me.

I think HHS comes out with a chip on their shoulder after there first loss to the Camels last year in a long time. However, the Camels come to the Fort with one of their best teams in the last 10 or so years, with a defensive coordinator who is very knowledgeable of all things HHS football. This one could get interesting.. my blue blood has me thinking HHS 35 - CCHS 28.

I like the Birds by 2 TDs.

We all know the game doesn't mean much (the teams are in different classes) but this is a huge game for each team.

 

Highlands is trying to bounce back after their worst year in the modern era and a loss to Campbell County says maybe next year.

 

Campbell County is trying to be relevant in 6A Football and a loss to Highlands says not this year.

Last year, Highlands shot themselves in the foot to lose to CC. The team is better this year. Highlands by 10.

I'll take the Birds by 10.

Love Dowd, but hate that all his touches come on pitches or slow developing delays from the gun. With a full week of prep, I'm afraid Highlands will key on him and bet the ranch the Camels passing will be too inconsistent to beat them. Hope they are wrong. Hard for Camels to beat them back-to-back, especially with this one at the Fort.

I will take CC by 7, who is the game changer for Highlands? I will take Hoeh and Dowds any day. Should be a fun atmosphere.
