What is it about the Defense that has everyone jacked up in the Fort?

Love Dowd, but hate that all his touches come on pitches or slow developing delays from the gun. With a full week of prep, I'm afraid Highlands will key on him and bet the ranch the Camels passing will be too inconsistent to beat them. Hope they are wrong. Hard for Camels to beat them back-to-back, especially with this one at the Fort.

They swarm and hit. Long on the ends yet play with discipline.

If you saw the defense the last two years at HHS you would understand why everyone keeps mentioning the defense.

 

It was hard to watch the past couple of years, no energy or desire displayed.

Cooper had a kid run for over 100 yards on Highlands so Dowds should have a great night.

Good Luck 'Birds

Camels return a lot and have a great coach. Birds defense makeover is huge and the offense got the first win to shake the jitters off. I think this one will start even maybe a little in the camels favor. I'm thinking tied at 17 at the half. Then I think the Bluebirds will pull away. If the Dowds is going to be starting both ways and pretty much carrying the load the camels will get smoked in the second half. And by smoked I mean beat by a TD and some change, couldn't pass up the pun.
