I really find it very difficult to believe that Isiah Briscoe was a decent shooter in high school. If you look at his stats his senior year it SAYS he shot 36% from 3, (30 for 83) and 70%, (155 for 222), from the foul line. What the heck happened especially from the foul line? I cringe every time he shoots the ball from farther than 5 feet. I love the way he gets to the basket and he has very good handles but his shooting has to put him up there with the worst shooting guards I have ever seen at the college level. Could the young man need to have his eyes checked? How do you go from what he apparently did in high school to what he has become in college. I will admit that the competition level is much greater now but I am baffled by his numbers.

You know there's a guy who claims to be UK's #1 fan but he only posts when UK loses. Go back and look at the Ky/Ala thread and he had nothing to say. I'd be willing to bet that he hasn't posted in a win this year. I think we should get together and help find him another team to root for.

Should Conner get by Dixie they will not allow Holmes to "rest" as they will make Holmes guard them. Holmes shouldn't and probably wouldn't play zone against them because Conner will shoot the "3" and if zoned could get hot and hit a bunch of them. Conner can also handle the press pretty nicely so I don't agree with your "rested" statement at all.

Per the KHSAA. Congratulations to the lady cougars as they win their 20th game of the season in their regular season finale. Imo this is considered an upset and probably Conner's best win of the season. While not a good shooting night again from the field for the lady cougars they were able to hit 23 of 28 from the foul line to end the season and prepare for the districts next week. Does anyone have any details of the game? I have stated previously that this team could be a team that could upset a team come tournament time if they get hot from the outside and make shots.
