See what MJAllthe Way24 says above. As for the roster expansion, change, etc. who knows what they plan to do. I think that it could be a very ineresting trade deadline for the Reds. They still have a few pieces that could help teams, ie. Cozart, Bruce and maybe Phillips. They do have a surplus of young pitching now and have quite a few lefties that other teams might like to add to their pens. Maybe they have been showcasing some of them. Who knows maybe they eat some of Votto's money to dump that albatross of a contract.

What they said at the time was that they wanted to add prospects who they thought could help the team 2 or 3 yrs. down the road. Frazier stood to go from $3.75m last year to $8.25m for 2016 and would be Arb3 for 2017 and a FA in 2018. What I read was that Phillips wanted to renegotiate his contract to add at least a 3rd year beyond 2017 which is Phillips FA year and the Nats weren't willing to do that. Was told that the Conner girls set new school records in the 4x100m dash and the 4x200m dash. While they couldn't compete with the speedsters to the south they represented their school well.

He probably wouldn't have fallen had he not looked over his shoulder to see where the closest runner was to him. When he did that I think he got out of synch and as you stated his legs gave out.

He actually fell when turning to look back at the 2nd place CovCath runner. He was able to get up but fell twice again before he crossed the finish line in time to finish 2nd. He did stay down a long time but apparently he recovered enough to run the longer event later in which he looked fine.

Conner senior Olivia Panelia won both the long jump and triple jump qualifying for state in those events. She also anchored the Conner girls in the 4x200m that they won and the 4x100m where they finished 2nd to Ryle. Congratulations to these Conner girls as they represent northern Ky next weekend in Lexington.
