Conner JV girls remain undefeated this week with victories over Dixie and Ryle. Not sure of Dixie score but they doubled up on Ryle 49-24.

Conner brings 2 8th graders off the bench and they see quite a few minutes, Courtney Hurst and Savannah Jordan.

Are there any broadcasts of the Mason Co. games?

I think they'll be looking ahead to Friday night's encounter in Park Hills and probably drop a close one unless Beetle goes off for another 40.

Walter won't be happy when he sees your rankings and probably with good reason. You have omitted his Holmes bulldogs. Holmes has won 11 in a row with an early loss to Henry Clay by 12 and 2 other losses to Ballard by 12 and Bullitt East by 2 in the King of the Bluegrass. I guess this week will tell more about them as they go on the road to Mason Co. tomorrow and then play CCH on the road Friday and travel to Montgomery Co. to play Trinty in the Joe B. Hall classic Saturday afternoon.

I don't think they are as bad as their record. They started off 0-4 also.

Wasn't at the game but was told that Scott's defensive game plan was to play man and pressure the ball and they never went away fromthat. Anyone who has seen Conner play knows that they are not a real good shooting team. Most teams zone them a lot.

There is a big difference in cancelling and rescheduling. This was rescheduled to allow students to participate in the BOK event. This benefitted both schools as NDA students and players got to attend the CCH/NCC game and Holmes students and players the Holmes/Cooper game last night. Then same students could attend this game if interested. Why should there be a lot of scrutiny?

Starting to wonder if people on here are over rating Dixie a bit.

Can't imagine coach Carr cutting a 6'4" 15 year old with a lot of potential. If he was cut there was probably more to it than that. We don't see everything that goes into preseason work.

Heard it was more a football game than basketball.

What about mason Co.? I think they will have something to say about who wins the 10th region.

Scott did a good job of denying Beetle the ball in the 3rd. I think he only took 2 shots the whole quarter but managed to score 14 in the 4th. Both teams shot very high percentages tonight.

By the time Jack was a senior in high school the learned that he could plant that large backside in the lane and nobody was going to move him. He was a poor man's Charles Barkley and made it work well over the years.

Might that be BGP Wireman?

His dad was a welder and cut the rim down to 15" for him and his brothers to shoot on one summer. He said it made it like shooting into a bathtub when he went back to school that fall.

He was a legend in the eastern Ky mountains. He averaged 47.2 pts per game his junior year and 53.7 pts his senior year 1980.
