9th Region Tournament Schedule

Featured Replies

I was just looking at the week that the 9th Region Tournament is scheduled to be played at the Bank of Kentucky Center and noticed that NKU has a pair of women's home games that week. Anyone care to speculate how the schedule for the 9th Region tournament will go with that being a factor? Obviously NKU's games take precedent over the high school games.

I am sure that NKU and the company that manages the BOKC have it taken care of, as the Ninth Region has a long term contract with the company that manages the BOKC.

I will also venture to say (just a guess mind you), that more people will be in attendance for the Ninth Region Boys games, than what will be in attendance at any of the NKU women's games that week! :idunno:

Found this on the BOKC events schedule Link and honestly I am not sure this is official but...

Based on this then the NKU womens's games will not conflict as they play Thursday night and Saturday afternoon. One thing that disturbs me is that the boys will have 9 days until the state tournament starts on March 19th if they finish on the 10th.

Nothing the Ninth can do about that, as I believe the Boys Regional Games must be over prior to the Girls playing their Sweet Sixteen Games!

This year the Girls Tourney is played 1st and the Boys Tourney is played after their event is over, last year if again I am not mistaken, the Boys Tourney was played 1st and the Girls followed!

You are right, last year the boys was early but it looks like at least for the next 4 years the boys will be last.
