They run because they can, Fieger can sling it better than anyone in 1A, Rash hopes you load up to stop the run because they have plenty of speed on the perimeter. By the way, they haven't thrown to a rb in a month, shock and awe........I guess we will see once you get to beechwood rd.

I could not agree with you more, when you get to the regional finals you better not be looking ahead, cause that team who is lining up across from you is obviously pretty darned good. Heres to hoping both BW and MF advance. I for one live by the adage, to be the man, you have to beat the man....and of course MF is the man in 1A.

I'm rooting for BW as hard as anyone, but I cant fathom BW dominating this game. As I said before, If I wasnt a BW fan I would be squarely in the Frankfort corner. While they may not have the numbers, those kids play hard, they play for each other and best of all they compete. I'd sure like to see BW go up big so I could take my sorry butt home early to warm up, but that wont be the case, this will be a sensational game all the way to the end. Might have to make sure I can find that extra flask for additional anti-freeze, if you know what I mean!

Good point, you are correct to point out that I cannot assure you of a complete reversal, but I feel pretty confident the Dixie team of today would beat CCH by a comfortable margin, just my opinion from seeing both teams at least twice.

Best stadium in NKY, collegiate feel, great atmosphere, and I'm not even a Dixie fan.

I can assure you, if Dixie and CCH were to play today, the score would be reversed.

From what I was told the players were more worried about the game at hand, heard coach Rash asked them if they wanted to participate and to a man they said its football season. Good for them.

So much for Pikeville being the best 1A team in the state, that honor resides on the western side of the bracket.

These are two hard nosed, punch you right in the face teams, one thing is for sure the young men on both teams will leave it all on the field of play. I look for Frankfort to win by 17.

There middle school team has been in the championship game the past two years and seemed to have good numbers. Hope they can figure it out.

Dixie wins by whatever margin they want, they are that good.

I too am hoping for a Beechwood win, but from what I have seen in the last several years....you just never know. The Tigers are on a roll at the moment, but NewCath is always well coached and play hard nosed defense. I just hope I'm back from being out of town so I can make it to the game.
