I completely forgot about the Huff kid, he may not be large in stature, but he plays like he is 10' tall and bulletproof.

The Johnson kid from Holmes is a beast and will gain a lot of double team attention this year, or teams will just learn to run away from him.

I also heard that Goetz was hired, although my source is pretty good I will wait until the actual release comes from the school.

Curious to see who it may be, rumor has it that some coaches with very good credentials applied for the job, not sure if that is true or not, but look forward to seeing who it might be.

If I am not mistaken both Hansel and Walling will be seniors this upcoming year, and yes both are very good.

Pitching a little, spot duty in the outfield for varsity. IMO could use some trips to the plate in JV to work on his stroke.

All those Powell kids are great athletes, he had a good frame, about how big is he now? Is the backup QB you are referring to Heflin? If so glad to see him get a shot at another position, to good of an athlete to hold a clipboard on the sideline, and no offense to Heflin, but he was not going to get many snaps behind Kuntz.

Not sure about your first couple of points, but she did not teach this school year, so letting her go from her coaching duties has no bearing on a teaching position coming available, that was filled at the begining of the 2012/2013 school year. Not sure how football got into this thread, but her son is a gifted football player who is going to have a larger role this year, her sons being a good football player and other kids playing time has no bearing on her being removed from her basketball duties.

I would agree 100%, BW is fun to watch, but they are young, there best days are still ahead of them. Ryle is good....really good.

I am not so sure about that, the kid is big and has a cannon for an arm. As long as they dont ask him to do too much they will be fine, there will be growing pains, but by the time the district rolls around he should be settled in.

Glad you mentioned Suchaneks name in this, he is the one who stole home for the win and pitched one heck of a game. He seems to get overlooked by those that just want to glamorize the freshmen phenoms. Both Combs and Stringer are very good players, hopefully destined to be great at some point, but without Suchanek this BW team would not be nearly as successful as they have been thus far, would just like to see the kid get his due. Stringers was a bomb, but it was to left center, not sure anyone has ever hit one out at BW to straight away center, not even Berger.

Sorry to hear that TOG, but I completely understand, hopefully by the time football rolls around you will post the stats from those games.

True that, but isn't there this thing they call transfering that would keep him form being eligable next year. Or are the parents going to plead the old "hardship" case, they cant afford the tuition, so they get a free pass? I dont care where the parents decide to send their kids, or for what reason, but how can you go from one varsity program to the other, without moving, and not lose a year of eligability? Of course it wouldnt matter if they moved, the parishes that feed HC are mostly in Covington, so does he have to move to the other side of Winston Ave?

I would look for both teams to throw at least two if not three pitchers, and I agree with Clyde, rust will be a factor with both teams, BW did play two last Saturday and it showed in the field more than a few times. Any idea of what time the game is? Would love to see it, I heard Cooper is loaded.

Welcome aboard, I agree that Lucas would be like putting a band aide on a heart attack, he has been there and done that. They need someone to instill the pride that the Juggernaut program had for so many years, and they also need someone with a plan to keep the kids in Erlanger.
