Who do you think wins 6A district in NKY this year?

It will come down to SK's 1st team and their 2nd team.

 

The 1st team has experience on their side, but did not have as good a year last year as some thought they would.

 

The 2nd team is coming in with a lot of hype and raw athleticism but it is unproven on the big stage of Friday Nights!

 

My prediction is the experience of the first team will only take them so far. The talent of the second team will start off slow because of their lack of experience. But by the time districts roll around they will have it all figured out. In the end it will be the younger group coming out on top in 2013 and playing for the 'ship in BG!!

Dixie beat SK last year with young guys all over the feild. Dixie Sphomore's are bigger and stronger than last year. I think it will come down to Dixie and SK. Dixie's qb Drew More has size 6'3 and very fast good arm. TE Andrew Hedger is 6'5 220 is one of the top TE's in NKY. Also Lineman Johnson should be one of the best in NKY.

Moore is a very dangerous QB.

I remember when Dixies Sphomores where Freshman they beat SK by 30 or 40.

It is April. Campbell County will win district again. They have the best coaching and that is what matters. Not the line, qb, etc. 3. In a row.

Kuntz is the best QB in this group. The O line should be solid and he has a great group of receivers coming back. Drew is 1b with Brennan the 1a.

Dixie has no speed outside of their qb. That has killed them the last 2 to 3 years. Plus, they almost never live up to the hype that people put on them.

 

SK has a good core coming back, but they have issues playing consistent, good football down the stretch.

 

BC with a new staff will be a team in flux this year, but could surprise people.

 

Ryle seems to have the players, but the x's and o's aren't there. Since Elliot left, they struggle with an offensive identity.

 

CC just seems to get it done when things matter. The key cog in the offense is gone. Without Durham, they will be interesting to watch.

 

This year, I think every team has a legit shot at winning the district. This couldn't be said the last few years.

Dixie and SK will both score points. Whenever a top level player like Durham graduates it takes a year , or more, to make up for that contribution because other players just don't develop as fast when they play with a superstar. Ryle has experienced this with Elliot and SK has experienced this with Simpson/Laurence. I would not expect much from Campbell. I don't think anybody knows what to expect from Boone. We are still waiting for Ryle to adjust to the graduation of Elliot.

Ryle is a mess.

Campbell County had the best QB they will ever have an SK took care of them in the playoffs.

 

Dixie has an awesome QB will some decent skilled players. I don't think they have the depth or size.

 

SK returns most of their players and have a very good QB. They should be the front runner.

I think we can safely say it won't be Ryle or Boone, but I look for Boone to bring it and bring it hard in the very near future.
