sportsfan2012
With football spring training in full effect, who will we be watching for this year to make an impact for their team?
UK#1fanisback
SK will have 2 good ones to watch Sophomore Dylan Powell at running back and they moved the backup QB to WR he has good speed.

All those Powell kids are great athletes, he had a good frame, about how big is he now? Is the backup QB you are referring to Heflin? If so glad to see him get a shot at another position, to good of an athlete to hold a clipboard on the sideline, and no offense to Heflin, but he was not going to get many snaps behind Kuntz. Look forJohnson at o/d line to be big time this year . Hedger at TE Dixie coaches are talking about his off season weight gain now at 6'5 220. Mr. Sixer
Spring practice was over about a month ago. Preparations are now being made for the season opener. Not for all teams. Cooper just opened Spring ball yesterday and the two big questions are who will step in to fill the 3 big holes in the O-line and more importantly can Will Ludwig fill the hole left by 3 year starter QB Tyler Morris. All other positions should be very solid.
Bluedad
Spring practice was over about a month ago. Preparations are now being made for the season opener. Cov Cath's spring game is Saturday morning. Aside from the obvious guys in Burchell, Sam Dressman and Luke Bir, I'm interested in seeing (in no particular order): - how Stewart and Kathman do as bookends anchoring the o line - how Adam Wagner progresses with his passing game. I know he can run - how the WR's do with Wagner at the helm - how the defensive front does against the o-line - will there be any surprising young Soph's who break out? DRKARK
For Conner Michael Gunyan. 6'4 240 pound O & D lineman.
CougarFan75
Conner spring ball scrimmage is this Saturday, with the loss of a chunk of the O & D line along with Fogle, the next group will need to step it up! Most of their skills players are returning as seniors this year so if the lines can be rebuilt they should be a challenger again this year..... oldonetechnique
Franklin County should have some nice guys returning. McKaskell, should be bigger and stronger and fast as ever, Sophomore Landon Hurst should get more clock as well, Chris Roberts 260 lb running back will be a senior. I also hear they have a Lee kid that is promising? Hopefully this team can play some defense and move some bodies around to be better on the line next year. Any updates on Flyer land?
