Can't agree with you more, the 4-3 is not going to cut it this year, they will need to adapt the defensive to the team they are playing.

I think you are truly underestimating the talent that this team possesess, Yes they can't replace Fogle, but maybe forcing others to step up is just the motivation they need. This team will be Senior laden and many of them have been playing together since pee wee. I think 8-2, 9-1 is a real possibility this year, the best part about this year will be that a lot of coaches will assume that without Fogle the Cougars can't score and by the time they realize that error, it will be too late!

I may be a little bias here but I think you are correct, the Cougars Defense is going to surprise some folks and the lines have been rebuilt. Conner will again be a force to recon with in NKY and hopefully the state!!

Conner spring ball scrimmage is this Saturday, with the loss of a chunk of the O & D line along with Fogle, the next group will need to step it up! Most of their skills players are returning as seniors this year so if the lines can be rebuilt they should be a challenger again this year.....
