Shumate took them to the region with Buettel and B. Romes four years ago.

I’m surprised Ross Hart didn’t get the job. He was a 1000 pt. scorer there and was on staff with Shumate when they had a lot of success. He has also coached under two state championship coaches at Holmes, and was the head coach on the JV team that won the championship this season.

Observations on this hire... if it is true.

1. Goetz must really want to pursue the public school route

2. Was Ross Hart even contacted? Worked under two state champ coaches, won JV region this year, graduate of the school, probably top 10 players to ever come from there.

3. How many of the young assistants in NKY went after this one?

Yes. Made it in about 2009.

He was interviewed and the interview went very well, and they wanted him.

Ross has no interest in that job. Loves his current position with Holmes.
