Is Erik Goetz the new Beechwood Basketball Coach?

Featured Replies

Walter is like a dog chasing his tail around in circles. His life revolves around being the first to act as if he is always the first with new info. Same ole Wally.

He will have a comment initially on a subject at the beginning of a thread, by the time it ends he has been in circles ten times and somewhere in there he has commented on what really happened. Gotta love him.

wa wa has a man crush ... :troll:

We know we know Wally.

You were the first, are always the first, to provide any new info to this entire site. Wally is da man.

Observations on this hire... if it is true.

1. Goetz must really want to pursue the public school route

2. Was Ross Hart even contacted? Worked under two state champ coaches, won JV region this year, graduate of the school, probably top 10 players to ever come from there.

3. How many of the young assistants in NKY went after this one?

Good point because he will not get to the regional tournament with Beechwood either.

I think Goetz is a great coach.

There is a whole lot more great coaches than there is great jobs, especially in nky basketball.

Beechwood still interviewing for coach and teaching positions. I have a very good idea who the coach will be and will know more next week.

Should know within the next two weeks....

Coach Goetz and some BW folks were at Barleycorn's tonight.

Announcement soon?

Still a couple more steps in the process....

Really? More steps? I should remind Ben Zimmerman, Suzy Wera and Dr. Hutton that this is the Beechwood basketball job. Not football, not baseball, but basketball. Personally, if I were Erik Goetz, I would get the heck out of dodge.

Along these lines, what would the new coach have to do in order to be considered successful? What does a successful basketball season at Beechwood look like?

Has nothing to do with the names you just mentioned.

Now that Ryle has named their Coach the Beechwood job should be finalized in short order and if not it could be back to square one.

Then one could only assume the Barleycorn's outing was of a celebratory nature?

If they met Tues, no.

It's a process. When all steps have been completed, it will be announced who the next coach is.
