One might think he's upset because he didn't give the name first. After speaking to people in the know, Goetz is in at Beechwood.

You're right, G. I guess I should have worded it different instead of saying exactly what my source told me.

 

Beechwood has decided on someone, made an offer, and both parties feel good about a decision.

 

My apologies for jumping the gun. I can say with 100% fact though that Erik has not been named head coach. Will he become head coach? Great chance, but still some obstacles.

Statman stated in the other thread that Goetz teaches history. I believe Beechwood has an opening for a history teacher.

Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine from the 9th Region. He stated and I quote, "There are two candidates that have been taken to the Superintendent and they will decide by Friday." He wasn't able to give me names but he strongly suggested that one recently resigned from the 10th Region and other was a 9th Region coach who left his position in April. I wish both candidates the best of luck.
