Holmes Summer Shootout
I think that they are, well at least last year they were.

Beechwood 2013
Combs is needed on the offensive line, BW will be fine at TE, they have three kids who will be an upgrade over last year. No offense to Combs, but he does not have the speed to play TE at the next level, if he wants a D1 scholarship it will be as a member of the interior line.

Beechwood 2013
Was there for the Friday night lights camp, definitely doesn't hold 2500, but from my estimation is well above 900. They do have that terrace area near the south end zone where probably 300-400 people could stand, but not sure how many people want to stand for a whole game during the month of August!

Beechwood 2013
Couldn't agree more VOR, BW will not be able to replace Nussbaum and Justice, they will be young and inexperienced, but in looking at the kids who are potential replacements, they are talented and athletic, just don't have the snaps.....hopefully they can gain experience quickly. IMO BW will be much better on the DLine which will give those inexperienced LBs some protection and time to grow.

Sam Burchell from CCH Picks Up An Offer
Glad to hear he is recovering well, the young man is a beast, congrats on the early offer, but as many have said in this thread I expect to see many more offers on the table in the near future.

Beechwood 2013
Rumor on the street is that Sheakley holds 2500, the other rumor is that Summit Country Day, CHCA, and McNick declined to play BW. Again just rumor on the street.

Lloyd - Top All-Time 3 Players
Great call on both, I think Geoff was all state in both football and baseball during his time at Lloyd, first round draft pick by the St. Louis Cardinals out of high school, career ended when he blew out his knee in Fenway Park while playing for the Chicago White Sox.

Lloyd - Top All-Time 3 Players
Good call, forgot all about "Wheels" he was a beast, he went to Murray and if I am not mistaken started all four years.

Lloyd - Top All-Time 3 Players
Jon Long, played for the 66 state champ team, went on to be a star safety at Tulsa and played with the old St. Louis Cardinals Brent "Toehead" Rash, arguably the best player that played at Lloyd, did not play college football, he had no interest...but they sure did Mark Evans, played on the 76 state championship team, I believe he went on to play at Miami of OH Mika Lockard, without a doubt would have been D1 had it not been for an ACL tear Mike Botts, started for Louisville as a true freshmen at nose, knee injuries halted college career Just wanted to add a few more names to the list

Newcomers to look for next year
I agree 100%, the kid can dominate an opponent when he wants and seems to get as much pleasure from passing as he does from scoring, love to watch this kid play.

The future looks Bright!
Glad to hear Heflin is moving to WR, he is way to good an athlete to stand on the sideline holding a clipboard, he also played some pretty wicked safety back in the day....just sayin
-
The future looks Bright!
Forgot about Von Handorf, have yet to see him play, but I heard he is special.

The future looks Bright!
Beechwood has the following Sophs who should play and contribute on Friday nights, Fieger QB, Combs OL, Stringer RB, Slusher WR, Bankamper LB. They all played a significant role in BW's Frosh undefeated / championship season and hopefully will contribute the same this upcoming season.

Dixie Heights 2013
IMO they made great strides last year, I am not sure what they have from an O Line standpoint, but one thing is for sure, with Drew Moore at the helm they will be fun to watch and never out of a game.
-
Mayfield 2013
From what I am hearing out of the BW camp they are looking at opening the offense up a little bit, the young Fieger kid can sling it, but I also agree that it takes time to change the mindset of a program. I guess we will see once they strap on the gear this summer.

Drew Barker commits to Kentucky
Cmon Man....I hope your guy gets to play at the next level, and I'll go as far as hoping he gets an offer from a D1 school, but really, you have to put this up on this thread? Start a thread talking about your guys recruiting and how it is going, I know that I will be an interested reader.

Drew Barker commits to Kentucky
Congrats to Drew, gives me hope for the future of UK football

Mayfield 2013
I agree with you on the points you made, I dont know enough about the Russellville team, thanks for the heads up.
-
Mayfield 2013
Seems as though BW and Mayfield are more alike than you might think, BW has 11 of 22 returning with the new starters the equal or better than who they replaced...oops forgot about Nussbaum, ok with one exception. You may be very surprised how good BW is this year.

Here's How You Get Noticed Instead of Waiting
Thanks

Expectations at Ryle
Sorry, I forgot all about Marksberry at nose

Expectations at Ryle
Who were the three sophs that started, Deaton started a couple of games at LB, I saw Vercheack (?) play a bunch, but did not see him start. Who was the other?

Here's How You Get Noticed Instead of Waiting
Not to be nosy, but can you give a range of what they charge for this service?

Top Nky players by positions
Dont misunderstand me, the kid is a big target at 6'5" and is going to catch a lot of balls in Dixies offense, I just dont think he is as well rounded as the True kid from Highlands. As he gains strength he will be a better blocker at the point of attack, last year I thought his skills as a blocker were lacking, he is going to be a good one, he just isnt at the top of the ladder yet, IMO.

Top Nky players by positions
Not sure how Hedger got on the list as the co-best TE in NKY, while he is going to be a fine player he isnt in Trues league right now.
