  1. I am ready to go!!!!! It's about time.
  2. Agreed. Why does the top 5A program even schedule a tiny 1A program? Neither team benefited from the game. IMO a week of the football season was wasted away. Hopefully both programs learn a lesson from this mistake. Good luck Birds and Tigers on the season.
  3. Compared to 1A schools Dixie is deep. The roster sizes and talent depth is not even close.
  4. True. Is there sarcasm hidden in there? But as we all know, individual athletes don't win games. There's 11 on the field and the unit that plays as a team and not as individuals will win.
  5. VOR is on the money. If I were in town, I would love to be at the game. ICN missed this big time!
  6. I agree with Walter. Turnovers will play a big factor in this one. 1A Beechwood will likely have a number of players going both ways as usual and the depth chart is deep at Dixie. Conditioning, focus, desire and discipline will tip the scales. The game will be won in the 4th quarter by the team that wants it more. It should be a good one for football fans. Prediction.....Beechwood 38 - Dixie 35
  7. Boone's Oppenheimer is a strong runner. Impressive. Beechwood's Vocke is elusive. If he gets daylight, it's 6. Colosimo is the starting QB for Beechwood isn't he? Why did he play JV too? Is Beechwood that short on QBs this season?
  8. With Boone having Henry Clay and Scott County the next two weeks, they will have a tough time. The kicking game is lacking. Go for 2.
  9. Best wishes to Justice for a speedy recovery. With 1A Beechwood up next for Dixie, shouldn't the Colonels be able to recover and gain some momentum? Beechwood is small is numbers and size compared to the 6A, 5A and 4A competition they face so the D1 talent of Dixie really should not have much of a challenge again from Beechwood this year. NCC has Aiken. Based on this big win against Dixie, NCC should do just fine.
  10. Sounds like it's time to make the reservations in Bowling Green.
  11. Ryle has alot of weapons. CCH will work out the kinks and be just fine against most opponents. Let's face it, HHS and Ryle will win against most, if not all teams and go deep into the playoffs. HHS - Ryle will be fun for fans to watch.
  12. The Birds certainly seem ready to roll to another title this year. The HHS & Ryle battles will be fun to watch though.

    Camera Advice

Canon and Nikon are fantastic. A good zoom lens will help too.
  14. He was and still will be a great model for aspiring coaches. He will be missed.
  15. I was fortunate enough to be at the game and it was a great one to watch. Congrats to the Boone coaches on a job well done. Cotton is a gifted player.
  16. A friend of mine at work told me that Beechwood is so thin this year they even have a couple of Freshman starting Varsity special teams.
  17. This will be a close one. Maybe a 3 point margin. Fun to watch down to the end. Tigers take it.
  18. Wow! 62-7. Maybe future varsity "games" between Highlands and Beechwood may not be very exciting to watch. After the 2 year deal is over maybe there will be a 6A or 5A opponent for Highlands to schedule.
