I know its a little late to start a thread that the games tomorrow but lets just see what predictions and thoughts we can get till noon tomorrow. So any thoughts or predicitons?

I like the way Boone is playing right now, and Dixie had a lot of errors today from what I saw. Should be a very good game. Both teams are hitting the cover off the ball. I say this one comes down to pitching and defense. As of now it's up for grabs.

Dixie has been the top team in the region all year. They have their pitching lined up. If they don't win, it is definitely an upset. Got to go with Dixie.

I like Boone in this one. Teegarden has already shut down Dixie and I think he'll do it again. Dixie definitely has the most pitching with Smallwood being able to come back tomorrow, Stansberry and Sexton both being fresh.

Boone beat Dixie last time 2-0 with but without seeing Smallwood but saw Stansberry and Sexton.

I hope Dixie wins as they give the Ninth the best chance at bringing home a state title with the pitching they have. With the way the baseball tourney is set up this season, a team with good pitching is going to bring home the title!

Boone doesnt have good pitching with Deno, Teegarden, Laumann, Alford, Murphy, and Brodsky? Not as Deep as Dixie but still a pretty good rotation.

Stansberry had both starts against Boone earlier this year so it's a tough call whether you go with him a 3rd time. Certainly Smallwood will fit into the equation somewhere.

 

I believe you have the 2 best teams playing for the Championship. There certainly aren't any upsets at this point as an earlier post referred to, it just comes down to who plays the best today.

Agreed. Truly a game that could go either way. Good luck to both teams. It's nice when the best 2 teams hook up for the title. I have no idea who wins today but would expect it to go down to the last at bat.s

Boone does have the pitching to make a run at the title! Whatever team wins, I think they will represent the 9th region well. Both teams have great pitching, good hitting, and good defense.When you say I hope, well I can only hope you are wrong. Go Rebels!!!

Btw....Teegarden is the only pitcher to shut Dixie out this year.
