I agree about Ingolia for Boone. Is he in the mix at all for the starters job? Maybe he should be.

 

I think both of these teams are going to have slightly subpar seasons based on what I saw tonight.

I doubt Ingolia has any chance to QB for Boone Varsity the next 2 seasons. Rick Thompson's son is the starting QB for Boone and he's just a JR. Ingolia may not get the job until his Sr. year unfortunately.

Bottom line is Boone dominate the Offensive Line the whole game.

BC QB isn't the most glamorous position unless you like to hand the ball off. I respect the BC legacy, they were awesome to watch in the late '80's, through mid '90's but the game has changed while they have not.

I agree and Thompson is more than capable of handing the ball off and running a little. It's a shame Boone isn't going to utilize Trevan Brown at receiver again this year. It's such a waste of talent and would help the mix with the running game. Like Oppenheimer he's a hoss to bring down also after he catches the ball. If you're a RB Boone is the place to be but if you're a QB or Receiver Boone is the place NOT to be as a player. The traditional running game continues.....

But you have to look at the scrimmage this way, when Boone got in the power they had to 80 yard drives where they couldnt be stopped... The team was working on things to improve other parts of the game... The kicking game is horrible!!! I believe Boone county has improved quite a bit from what I saw last night.. From what I heard Beechwood beat Conner pretty bad is that true?

I would not say Beechwood beat Conner pretty bad. I think it was 5-3 or something close to that. Boone beat Beechwood 4-3 on a last play of the 1's TD. But Boone looked stronger than Conner if that is what you are wondering. I am not sure how Conner will stop the beef on Boone but there isn't a big enough spread to say it is a sure win for Boone. Boone will be favored for sure but a fumble or two can make a big difference in a game with a ball control offense.

With Boone having Henry Clay and Scott County the next two weeks, they will have a tough time. The kicking game is lacking. Go for 2.

Boone's Oppenheimer is a strong runner. Impressive.

Beechwood's Vocke is elusive. If he gets daylight, it's 6.

Colosimo is the starting QB for Beechwood isn't he? Why did he play JV too? Is Beechwood that short on QBs this season?

It looked to me like Boones offense improved greatly since the South Oldham scrimmage last week... The defense also look much improved from last year. Anyone else agree?
