When was the last time Covcath lost a game this bad?!

 

I think this is a good indication the Ryle may be the class of 6A football in nky...and by a long shot.

Glad to see Ryle took care of things in this one.

Elliot had well over 200 yds and a couple long TD runs. He looked very good, and his line was opening some very nice holes.

CCH struggled to get in a rhythm offensively. Ryle put lots of pressure on Bir.

I don't think I'd go that far. Ryle ran the ball VERY well, but there wasn't much there in the passing game. SK will battle Ryle. I think it'll be a 2 team race this year.

Looks like the Colonels have a ways to go. I think Ryle/HHS will be a good one.

I left in the 3rd when Elliott had another long TD run that put them up 33 - 7. My guess is he had 200 yards at that point.

 

CCH showed that they cannot compete without opening it up. Bir has a nice arm. When I left in the 3rd I think he had one downfield pass attempt of more than 6 to 8 yards. Ryle jammed the line and killed the running game.

 

Defense obviously didn't pay well but in their defense they never got a break. Did CCH have a first-half 1st down?
