Ryle 61 Covington Catholic 7

Hempel ran the ball well but his passing was not very good and I am being kind. That was not a D1 performance at qb because you will not run power from the gun in college.

SK will shut that running game down with ease I am sure Highlands will to.

CovCath has along way to go, the kids were no way prepare for this game and that is all coaching. I see no difference between the coaching change that was made two year ago.

There did seem to be some confusion as to who was supposed to be on the field and a few players didn't seem to know the plays.

Now that speaks volumes.

Ryle is a very good team but 61-7 and running for 600 yards? That is just physical domination. Expected a Ryle win but nothing like this.

I know you are a Neer to the bone, just like myself, but please tell me you aren't going to be jacking threads all season long. Have you ever heard of the boy that cried wolf?

I have seen Ryle and SK both play just putting it out there that SK looks alot better than Ryle.

This is not a SK thread so please quit jacking, until SK can prove they are as great as you think or better yet play somebody an beat them please quit running your trap.

I see three possible wins. The rest of the schedule could kill them based on this game.

They will finish above .500. You will see them make big strides this next game against LexCath. I'll agree that they have a tough schedule, but CovCath will not lose to Scott, Dixie, Campbell, NewCath, or Beechwood. Ryle is on a different level than those teams.

The only one of those games I would count as a win is Scott. I think all the other ones could go either way.

WOW! I have to ask though, were the Colonels really that out of shape? Losing 19-7 at halftime is still being competitive(unless Ryle played terrible). Are they that bad, or is Ryle that good? Really the only times I can remember CCH losing like this has been in the past three seasons.

Obviously CovCath is on a different level as well.

Ryle has alot of weapons.

CCH will work out the kinks and be just fine against most opponents.

Let's face it, HHS and Ryle will win against most, if not all teams and go deep into the playoffs. HHS - Ryle will be fun for fans to watch.

Obviously CovCath is on a different level as well.

:laugh::laugh:

For those who watched the game, how well-conditioned did Ryle look in the game? Any issues with cramping or players looking really fatigued?

Also, how long did Ryle's starters stay in the game last night?

That's also what I was thinking, but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt.
