There aren't even enough Catholic schools in the state with football to have a Catholic state championship.

CovCath is the best without question, but who would get 2nd place? I would give it to Holy Cross. They have a lot of spirit, and they get pretty rowdy

I think Sam Flynn had at least 30 for CovCath in 06 whe they beat Johnson Central in the playoffs.

56-28 in favor of the Colonels. Beechwood doesn't match up well enough up front to run the ball, and Ritter and company shut down the passing game. Bir throws at least two touchdowns to Connelly. CovCath's Oline dominates a smaller Beechwood front. Beechwood scores a touchdown or two late in the game against to make the final score a little more respectable.

This is a great class. Looks like they need to work on the PATs though.

Complete 180 from the offense this week. Everyone got to see a little glimpse of what Bir can do, he is really going to be special. Defense had a great game. The running backs looked godd as well. Lot's of speed for the colonels this year. I'd also say that this was the worst officiating I have ever seen in a high school game. Timmerman was held on every play and it was called once. Those 3 PIs on LexCaths last scoring drive were a joke.

They will finish above .500. You will see them make big strides this next game against LexCath. I'll agree that they have a tough schedule, but CovCath will not lose to Scott, Dixie, Campbell, NewCath, or Beechwood. Ryle is on a different level than those teams.

Tough one for he colonels. I think they can get this one out of there system and still have a winning season this year.

Student Sections, going crazy at games, all of our little traditions. Some of my best memories were being in the student section at basketball games.

It's kind of hard to explain the spirit at CovCath. I was just as sad when my Colonel Crazy career ended as I was when my football career ended at CovCath.
