  1. They certainly left it wide open with everyone of importance to the story line still being alive. I was expecting a main characters death but in the end I'm glad it ended the way it did. Very good series top to bottom.
  2. Is it possible they both die, in a mine, going after the money? It would kind of come full circle to where Boyd and Raylen started from.
  3. If they are going to make a movie, I just can't imagine Boyd dies. I love Raylens charater but Coggins as Boyd really carries the show and I just couldn't imagine a movie without him.
  4. Woman Stabs Roommate for Refusing to Stop Listening to The Eagles According to the official report, Vernett Bader, 54, became irritated with her 64-year-old roommate (and one-time boyfriend) after he rejected her pleas to turn off the Eagles and told her to "shut up."
  5. Reed, everytime. Reed is the best ever in my opinion.
  6. Great player and pro. I loved watching him as a football fan, as a Bengals fan, I'm glad to see him go.
  7. I for one didn't defend it. I just think the punishment is appropriate. I'm quite sure there will also be additional punishment coming from the coach and the offenders parents as well. There is so much grandstanding in this and the previous thread it is becoming comical. It was a really dumb choice by kids who are at the peak of their poor decision abilities, in a group setting which further lessens the chance of good decision making. I'd venture to say that many taking the hardline stances were guilty of something at least close to as stupid and offensive when they were similar ages. We still have guys in the MLB giving each other the "hot foot" which is far more dangerous in my opinion but we expect, adult, mature behavior out of high school kids. They made a mistake, sufferred the punishments and hopefully learned their lessons. I always thought that was how the process worked but it looks like we are moving toward elimating educational and extra-curricular opportunites everytime a kid does something bone headed.
  8. Not speaking for Lipton Bash, but in my opinion the punishment can't be determined unless the decision makers know if this is a pattern of bullying or a one time "dumb kid" moment. If it's the latter, an formal apology, lots of running and a 5 game suspension would be appropriate. I've personally seen worse pranks than this and like others have mentioned, sometimes boys do really dumb things in group settings. It doesn't mean they are criminals who need to have their lives ruined with criminal charges. If it has been ongoing bullying then harsher punishment needs to be considered up to and including expulsion. I still don't see how this reaches the criminal level as many on here are suggesting. I also know that Dale Mueller didn't kick people off the football team because often times, the kids that others would deem worthy of removal he viewed as kids that needed football, discipline, structure, accountability, etc. in their lifes even more. I don't know the kids involved here, their home lives or their past behavior but I think the administration, including Dale Mueller, will do what is right for all parties involved.
  9. Netflix keeps coming up with very good original programing and spacing out when they release them. I'd guess their strategy is to eventually have enough original programing to always have something new being released. They are going to cause more trouble than they already have for the massive, slow responding cable providers.
  10. If you didn't earn them with playing time, they were called sympathy letters.....back in my day anyway....just sayin'
  11. Don't schools give these to Seniors regardless if they "earn" them with the required amount of playing time anyway? Is that really any different. The parent that complained must be a real piece of work.
  12. What plantman, isn't a guy entilted to think the grass is a little greener in Park Hills than Falmouth??
  13. Congratulations to Justin, very hard working young man from a good family.
  14. What good is being honest all of the time if you are wrong on all of the issues. #rhetoricalQuestion
  15. Not to mention trying to get a friendly game of cornhole going....Awkward!
  16. 641, a mix of news, sports, political and funny people.
  17. I think it will look very similar to the UC game but be a little bit closer since WV is a better team. Cats win by 8 in the end. 71-63.
  18. I did almost the exact same thing. I got into the classroom portion and realized I was not going to enjoy teaching. Better to make that decision now than to mail it in doing a bad job at something they would hate. I've had a nice career so far and have made more money than I would have teaching.
  19. When was the last year that Highlands didn't have the best O-line in NKY?
  20. I think Kansas and Virginia get beat in the next round. I think Virginia has a chance of losing today so I picked them in the poll.
  21. It's a no brainer for the organization. You don't bring him up until they get the extra full year. This is nothing new it has happened with all the young studs in the recent past, Harper, Trout, etc.
