Game was not really in doubt after a strong first half run by Trinity and then they just kept pushing the lead in the second half. Trinity becomes the first team to get both a football title and the Sweet 16 title in the same school year. Trinity was the picture of dominance for most of the year and the entirety of this tournament. Congrats Trinity!

Here are the results of the 2014 Sweet 16 Basketball Contest. We had a total of 60 entries this year - great participation. Perhaps the lure of a billion...scratch that - a hundred dollars attracted more entrants this year. In first place with a total of 23 points is Flotsam. Winner winner! We had a tie for second place. Mr. Sixer had 22 points and guessed 123 points scored in the final game, while kinglouie also had 22 points and guessed 140 points scored. There were 110 points scored, so Mr. Sixer finishes second and kinglouie finishes third.
