The Moeller Crusaders released their 2017 schedule today and to say they have decided to put some miles on the buses early and INVADE THE BLUEGRASS would be an understatement!! Ohio Week 2 - @ Louisville Trinity, 9/1 @ 7:30 PM Ohio Week 3 - @ Scott County, 9/8 @ 7:00 PM If that wasn't enough, they open their home schedule with ANOTHER KY opponent!! Ohio Week 4 - vs. Lafayette, 9/15 @ 7:00 PM Holy Hillbillies Batman!! :eek: What has gotten into Mighty Moeller!? I guess missing the playoffs two years in a row has them searching south of the Ohio River for fat, juicy Harbin Cows to bolster their schedule. Any thoughts on those three teams next year? I do a lot of reading on here, but not much posting. So I was wondering what everyone thinks about this - the Kentucky state High School AAU Tournament - it was this past weekend at KBA. Scott County won the title, posting a 7-0 record in pool play and the elimination bracket. Beat Henry Clay, Cordia and Perry County Central en route to championship. Trent Gilbert was named tournament MVP - 37 points in finals against PCC (He averaged 25-30 pts for the tourney). I guess my questions are this: How much of an indicator can this be about the upcoming winter season? Can you even start to judge teams this early in the summer? Really, I just wanted to gauge everyone's general thoughts, negatives or positives etc. etc.

Scott County junior forward Tereka Guyn was honored before last night's win over Lexington Catholic for joining the 1,000 career points and 1,000 rebound club. She eclipsed both marks in a Dec. 11 win over Bryan Station. Guyn has started since seventh grade and should break into the state's all-time rebounding list before she graduates. Congrats to Tereka!!! -

Game was not really in doubt after a strong first half run by Trinity and then they just kept pushing the lead in the second half. Trinity becomes the first team to get both a football title and the Sweet 16 title in the same school year. Trinity was the picture of dominance for most of the year and the entirety of this tournament. Congrats Trinity!
