Beechwood's waterboys got caught drinking out of a garden hose behind someones house near the school. I heard suspensions may be coming.

Consider yourself lucky! Ryle's last waterboy got tazed.

Lots of question marks on the schedule with Cooper, Conner, Holy Cross and Newport. I don't think we really know yet how good or bad these teams will be this year.

Not happening. 5-5 will be a good season with this young group. A year away from being really good.

JV also won their session 21-0. Nelson Perrin ran for 2 TD's and had a Int he returned for a TD. Roberto London scored all 3 of Scott's TD's during the varsity 2 qrt game portion of the scrimmage. J-Town really struggled to move the ball. I don't think that they got 1 first down in the two quarters of varsity play. They did have some receivers open that would have resulted in big plays but their QB overthrew them each time. Scott's o-line is big but young and it showed. I thought the line played badly but again they are very young and should get better with each game. I thought of the two QB's Perrin threw the better ball and looked better overall but he played with the JV and didn't get any snaps with the first team. As already mentioned both team ran plays beginning at the 10 yard line. J-Town scored twice and Scott scored at least 3 times (London-2 and Pleasant-1). There is probably 1 or 2 Scott TD's I am forgetting.

Typical Tuesday night in OTR!

School started today. Any news on the stud transfer or whoever the player you are talking about?

That seems cheap! Sweet deal for NCC!

No Jake Ohmer?

When was the last time NCC lost a regular season game against a district opponent?

Sounds like a very intelligent young man. Will fit in nicely at Notre Dame.

No one is taking a shot at SK. My goodness! The young man is only a freshmen! Is it impossible to say he played well or not say anthing at all?

Is the person who hires these coaches culpable? I know nothing about the coach who just resigned but if he quit after one year because he couldn't attract students to play football then I consider he to be a bad hire. As I said, I know nothing about this guy but I do know 2 of Brossart's previous coaches and the were horrible hires from the beginning. I really feel bad for the students who want to play football.

I quoted post 153 in my question to you. What did he do or why didn't students want to play for him?

What did he feel like he was doing to have this belief?

I'm surprised Elijah Miller's name hasn't been mentioned. The young man was a tackling machine last year. I look for him to have a big Sr. season.

Sophomore Year

Look for Scott RB Roberto London to have a big year. Averaged over 9.5 ypc as Soph last season.

I could have really made them mad and called them "Highland Heights High School" as our friends from Ohio like to do.

I call it how I see it!

The Highland fans on this forum over hype everything when it comes to their football team and they all attack 1 SK fan for doing mostly the exact same thing they do. Over hype their team! I can't help but sit back and laugh at the hypocrisy at times.

Maybe Crim could have held onto the ball if 45 wasn't all over his back.

Who is their coach?

I think Newport was set to have one of their better teams in a long time next season. This is only gonna make them even better.

I thought it was an awesome display of class by Coach Listerman to come over and be one of the first to shake Brody's hand as Brody came out of the game. Good luck to Highlands in the district. It has been beautiful to see the love shown to this young man by Scott and all of the NKY high school athletics community. Lots of cool coaches out there that are teaching their players the most important things in life have nothing to do with a scoreboard.
