Scott's defense was very good tonight against a much bigger team. Carr had a great game plan and the players executed it well. I felt that Harrison had more talent but Scott somehow found a way to win. Credit to Carr, his staff and the players! Oh yeah and Jake Ohmer is special! Very entertaining game tonight.
I was trying like mad to remember who this guy was until someone mentioned the Ward hit. I think that says enough about the impression Rivers left here in Cincinnati. Bengals need better than Rivers.
I drove by their football stadium earlier and it looked like one of their light poles was laying on the field. Does anyone know if it fell over on its own or was taken down?
I played the Public Handicapper contest for years, although I haven't played in recent years I found it to be fun. Only thing I didn't like is that they never offered free pp's. I am an avid contest player. Qualified for the HPWS for the first time last year and just missed by 80 cents of qualifying for the NHC this past year.
As a side note I belong to a Facebook group that owns yesterdays El Comino Real Derby winner Metaboss. They are pointing Metaboss to Turfway Parks Spiral Stakes on March 21. Turfway is 15 minutes from my house so if he runs I will be there.
Best of luck in your contest Getslow!
In his short time at UK, Drew Barker seems to have his name in the news for all the wrong reasons. There are about 10,000 other D-1 college football players who have managed not to do that. If I'm coach I can't say I would be to excited about my hopes of future success being put in the hands of a guy like this.
