Final per the update thread.

WOW! How playoff games should be!

What a tremendous game!

Congrats to both teams.

Gutsy call by Newport to go for 2.

^^^Agreed. Congrats to Coach and his team. He has a great group this year regardless of what happens next week.

Congratulations to both teams. I figured this would be tight all the way through.

Newport has good size and speed. Big win!

Might head over to see the rematch next week. Could be a good one. Gotta be fair weather, though. Some really good games to choose next week in NKY. CCH/HHS, Newport/NCC, Dixie/SK

Wasnt there a Walton in the state finals type of thread a few weeks back??

All 3 of these gets in regular season were pretty lopsided. What game has the chance to be the best the second time around??

The Newport/NCC game was 22-17. Nut exactly a blowout.

Newport and New Cath was pretty close. I look for it to be the same way and could see either winning. IMO, Simon Kenton will play better, but I still think Dixie will be too much at the end. Highlands and Cov Cath, I'm not even going to try to guess.

Dixie and HHS should win, but they start at zero again. I think they will be closer this time.

Sorry about the hijack. Great win for Newport, as well as, great effort for WV.

Newport has the weapons to win. SK has a lot to prove and HHS will name the score. I may go to Newport Stadium
