Whether dirty or not, they've gotten a reputation with the officials it sounds like. I don't remember a team w/ this many personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conducts. Seems like it is a point of emphasis with officials.

That being said, is Lattimore a Senior?

Yes, Latimore is a SR.

Not much point in arguing this anymore. It was one of the best high school football games I have ever watched. Both teams played well.

As far as Will Latimore I believe that he showed that he was a game changer. We had a discussion all year about top running backs. When Latimore was talked about most people did not believe that he was a top back. Lots of comments about a weak schedule, a small school, etc. Anyone that witnessed this game should agree that he is a top back.

Yes he is a senior with a bright future ahead of him.

Good luck to Newport this weekend.

I have no dog in this fight, but I went to this game because I thought it would be a good one. BUT, this was a HORRIBLY officiated game. I was a high school football official for 10 years, I know its not easy, and rarely, if ever criticize them. There were phantom pass interference and holding calls, WV recovered an obvious fumble which the refs blew dead before the runner was anywhere near down. I was really disappointed in the officiating, to say the least. Having said that, It was a fun game to watch, And congrats to both teams on great seasons!

So you did officiate for 10 years or you have been officiating for 10 years? Just curious. In Northern Ky?

No, I did officiate. I stopped when my kids started participating in sports. And i did officiate here in NKY.

"Lossed," that's fantastic. Elementary school taught me lost would be a better fit. Probably time to shut this one down. Great seasons for both Walton and Newport. Only six happy teams in the end, but many more memorable teams and runs throughout the state.

Agree, this one is starting to take a wrong turn.
