hrcarrier Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Interesting game to say in the least for the regional final. Huge game for the city of Newport and other areas surrounding Campbell County. When was the last time, if ever that these two played each other in the playoffs? Who wins and why?
Bengal Maniac Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Both teams are solid, but in reading about them all season, they both tend to be their own worst enemy at times with turnovers and penalties. Seems to me the team that can minimize those will win. But that is the case in most evenly matched games.
hrcarrier Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 They have never met in the playoffs. I wasn't sure; didn't think so.
hrcarrier Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 I believe either team can win and feel that whoever has more turnovers loses. Should be a great game and a nice way to bring some more pep back to this rivalry. Best of luck to both teams!!!
Lawnboy13 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 If the Defense from the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th quarters of tonight's game show up, I like the Breds chances. However, if the 1st quarters rears it's ugly head, good god it could be ugly. Breds definitely need to get control of the penalty situation.
footstomp Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 It wasn't pretty al all. Take the win and move on to next week. To the OC, please give the Qb a chance on 3rd down and quit throwing a bomb on 2nd and long for an incompletion.
G1 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Newport by 2 TD's. Ncc finishes at .500. It's a good thing they avoided playing that Ashland game or they would have finished the year with 7 losses.

Eagle2013 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Newport has not shown the ability to win the turnover battle this year. 3 again last night. That has to change right now or they will not beat NCC.
