The NCC channel!

We have done 5 NewCath games for the simple fact that NewCath plays pretty much everyone in the area. We try to cover every team in NKY at least once a year and it helps us out that NewCath isn't afraid to play the best teams in the area year in and year out. NewCath is a gracious host which makes it easy for us to set-up and broadcast. Some schools who I won't mention, will not allow us to broadcast their games. I wish we could cover a few other schools but we go where we can. Sorry if you feel that we are the NCC channel.

Keep up the good work. :ylsuper:

You all do a great job. Keep doing what you are doing and giving the kids of Northern Kentucky the exposure they are getting.

Why not tell us which schools do not allow you to do games?

I really don't think it's important but a few schools and I do mean a few think the following 1.) With the game being broadcast online for free that it takes away from the gate. 2.) With the game being available for reply, it gives other schools a chance to scout and breakdown film. These are the two objections given to us on a weekly basis. Everyone knows that high school football attendance is solid. Fans are going to go to the games regardless of the broadcast. In addition, anyone with a cellphone and a ticket can film the game and scout if you really think about it.

Re: NKYsports - I LOVE the fact that they take the time to do these games and put them online for us to watch. LOVE IT!

My only complaint is the PBP guy. But, I still watch the games despite that.

Doesn't Hudl make the 2nd one moot (or "mute" for some)? Aren't all games available on Hudl?

I get the first one. It has kept me from attending a game or two.

This game is a tough one to call. I think if Newport can avoid turnovers and penalties then they can beat NCC.

I was just notified that due to the contract between the 2 schools, Newport will be the home team at this game on Friday. Therefore they will be taking care of the gate and concession stand.

True or not, that makes no sense to me. NCC earned the right to have their score be listed as HOME on the scoreboard because they won the District.

From my knowledge, Newport will be wearing white and will be "visitor" on the scoreboard, making NCC the "home" team.

The contract does state that Newport is the "home team" financially when the two teams play each other. As for who calls the flip I think it'll be Newport as the visiting team. NCC will most likely be on the home side of the scoreboard.

Well, that's better. I was just reacting to the previous comment about Newport being the home team. I personally don't care about what happens behind the scenes with the funds that come in.
