So he'll be able to play? No hang up on the transfer rule as he's obviously already played varsity.

 

I think the kid is good enough to warrant some hard college looks, but ( no offense meant to Newport) the competition level goes way down and often the interest as a result. Good luck to the young man.

Nobody said "one player makes a team" . Only thing I said was that football is looking good next year .

Physically, he will be a great addition to any team. He played hard against HHS last year. I was hoping to see him play against the Birds this year.

Honestly, knowing ihim personally I truly truly hope Newport is his final destination as he needs to get settled. He will have 2 years remaining to show he can clearly dominate and take over games and futher impress college coaches. You can't teach the size and speed he has but his Junior year will be the most critical for him, IMHO.

He is a Junior . He will be a senior next year.
